MISSHA All-around Safe Block Fresh Sun Stick SPF50+ PA+++ Review:
Have you ever wished applying and re-applying sunscreen would be (even) simpler? Our fingers are one if not the dirtiest place on our body. With most sunblocks, we have to use our fingers to apply the product on our face. That usually isn’t as big of a problem but what if you’ve been outside of your house for 3 hours already, you have used the bus, your phone, multiple door handles etc..?
The more things you touch, the more germs and dirt your hands have. That means, the more chances you have to get a new pimple surprise on your beautiful face. There are couple of solutions for that, but I don’t want to be anxious all the time about finding a place to wash my hands, use antiseptic AND redo my makeup. And then I found this sun stick. It covers my needs of (kind of) hygienic sun protection so I thought I’d give it a try.
♥ This sun stick claims to provide transparent, simple and powerful protection from the sun’s powerful UV rays while having a fresh after feel without greasiness.
♥ It has a double layer strong UV protection system that is resistant against water and sweat.
♥ The new double layer UV protection system is supposed to provide excellent sustaining power by forming a powerful layer over the skin.
♥ It claims to leave a fresh after feel without greasiness.
♥ It can be applied anytime and anywhere to provide a refreshing matte finish to skin.
♥ Since it’s transparent, this sun stick won’t be forming any white streaks.
♥ The transparent sun stick can be applied over makeup without needing to spread with your hands and finally, it can protect the skin from uv rays with its spf50+ and pa+++.

How to use:
*taken from missha’s us official site*
1) Open the cap and turn the dial to dispense the content.
2) Meticulously apply along the contours of skin.
3) Pat lightly to be fully absorbed. It can also be applied over makeup.
4) It can be used on the body to protect the body skin.
Only apply appropriate amount:
To experience the optimal level of UV blocking benefit, it is recommended to apply fingertip size amount for face and half of palm size amount for the whole body.
Apply 30 minutes before going out:
It takes around 30 minutes for this product to be absorbed into the skin after applying. Hence, it is important to have enough time for sun cream to be absorbed before going out. (Apply more on the cheekbones under eye area, tip of nose and forehead.)
*Apply every 3 hours to keep the UV blocking benefit for a longer time.
*Apply more especially from 10AM to 2PM when UV rays are stronger than the rest of the day.
My Skin Type: acne prone, oily.
New 2017 MISSHA All-around Safe Block Fresh Sun Stick SPF50+ PA+++ Review:
First of all, thanks to my own ignorance, I was once again disappointed with the size of this. Yes, the smaller something it is, the more it fits for portable use but with the same amount of money, you can buy a normal 50ml sunblock from the same brand.
Before I even took the lid off, I started lecturing myself about how as humans, we all grew up to think that the bigger something is, the better. It reflects in all of our cultures after all. Also, it’s absolutely wrong to compare products with completely different compositions.
With the gel type, you only need a tiny bit to cover your whole face. By now, I have convinced myself that the value is pretty much the same with buying a cream type sun protector. Or so I thought.
I finally take off the lid, expecting the stick to be almost as long as the container. I was completely wrong. All this self-reflection was for nothing; this is incredibly tiny!
Overall, the packaging is okay but it feels a bit cheap; The product itself smells like nothing and the texture is like absolutely nothing. Literally, it’s like you put nothing on. No greasiness, no dryness, no oily feeling, no whitecast.
It’s transparent. I also noticed that it doesn’t clog my pores and the texture of my skin didn’t change after sweating and splashing water or mist on it while wearing this.
As far as using this over makeup, I was completely blown off. I expected this to ruin my makeup and make it obvious to anyone within 50 meters but no. It goes on top of it without ruining it!
The swatch photo above looks like nothing is on but I swear this sunblock is invisible I couldn’t do anything about it!
The only thing that changes is the thickness of everything on top of the skin. With the sun stick on top it really feels like there’s a thick layer of things on the skin, not really a pleasant feeling but not that annoying either;
I expected the texture to be very thin and just a tiny bit of product to be enough for a large area but instead it is on the thicker side. Sadly, it doesn’t last long either, since, I’m almost halfway through mine and I’ve had this for about a month (use it once per day). It’s like a dried lip balm.
I’d probably enjoy this product way more if it wasn’t this tiny. It did do what it promised and I did like it however it’s too small. That’s why I won’t repurchase. I might however, give a different sun stick a try.
