Mamonde Creamy Tint Squeeze Lip 10 Retro Rose was purchased by Cosmeperks.
To be honest I never heard anything about this product until I visited Aritaum’s website. I think Mamonde didn’t promote this lip tint as much as they did with the infamous Creamy Tint Color Balm (and the fact that Park Shin Hye used it on her drama really made a huge hype). I have the Creamy Tint Color Balm and I really liked it so I was excited to try this one and see if it’s better or not.
Among the 10 shades, I chose the shade 10 Retro Rose. From the shade range, I think some are not too different with the original line of Creamy Tint Color Balm. Most of the shades are reds but they do have some oranges and pinks as well.
It’s a little bit hard to find this on my country and I guess 10 Retro Rose is one of the best selling shade since there’s no stock for this shade on every online stores that I visited, even YesStyle and Amazon didn’t have this shade on stock! I guess I’m really lucky to be able to get this shade without knowing it’s the best selling one.

Mamonde Creamy Tint Squeeze Lip 10 Retro Rose Review:
Not gonna lie, the packaging turns me off a little bit when I saw it for the first time. The overall packaging is okay if not for the lid because the lid shape is really weird! I think they want to make an unique shape for its lid but I’m sorry to say that the lid shape is really… bad. If only they make it in normal shape, it will make the packaging 100% better in my opinion.
Bad lid shape aside, the tint feels way more sturdy than the Creamy Tint Color Balm. It’s like they are using a thicker material so maybe that’s why the price is a little bit higher. The size is pretty much the same and I have no trouble at all in carrying this tint in my bag because even though it’s more chubby than a traditional lipstick, it doesn’t need too much space.
It comes in a pretty white box. To see if your product has been used before is by checking the “bullet” part, if it’s been used, you will see the tint on the transparent part but if it’s in a perfectly new condition, there will not be any tint inside the bullet until you squeeze out the product.
The bullet itself is made from plastic and to make the tint come out, you have to squeeze the packaging then the tint will come up through the hole on the bullet. Because the bullet doesn’t have a sharp tip, it’s hard for me to draw a precise line on my lips and since I don’t have lip lines, it makes the application much harder and messier. Definitely not my favorite applicator.
Fortunately, you don’t have to squeeze really hard to make the product come out but for me, it’s a little bit annoying that I have to squeeze everytime I want to re-apply it especially if I’m in hurry.
I love scented product so one of the first thing I did is sniff the lip tint to see if it has a scent or not. It has a rose scent (they do contain rose extract) but the scent is very strong and will stay for hours even after applied on the lips. I’m not fond of roses so I don’t like the scent at all. If you don’t like scented product, I’m sure this lip tint is not for you.
I got shade 10 Retro Rose. On the promotional picture, it’s a brown red with orange undertone and I think people with warm undertone will suit this type of shade really well. I have fair complexion with neutral to warm undertone and on me this shade looks more like an brick red than a brown red but still, the shade is really pretty! This shade is very wearable and you can use it thinly for your daily activity or use it full lips if you want to get bolder look.
It has moisturizing finish and the pigmentation is pretty good! The texture is thick but it helps making the color shows better on the lips. Even though it’s thick, it’s really easy in spreading the color on the lips and it’s not patchy at all. It doesn’t make my lips feel dry or sink into small lines on my lips and I can say the quality can be compared to some of the high-end Western products.
The bad side is, because it’s moisturizing, it bleeds easily and make a mess around my lips. If you have small lips like mine, it’d be twice as hard if you want to apply it full lips and the applicator shape doesn’t help either.
In term of its lasting power, I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. I understand that lip products with moisturizing finish tend to wear off faster than a matte/velvet one but I expect it to leave some stain just like any other lip tints would but with this product, it fades away leaving really faint – almost nothing stain at all. After I eat something oily, the color will fade but I’m glad it doesn’t make a patchy line on my lips.
Overall, I think it’s a “so – so” product, means it’s not the best but it’s not bad either. I guess people with dry lips, thick lips, or prefer bold lip color will love this product because it will look beautiful but on people with small and thin lips like I do, we better try other product with more precise applicator. Honestly, I prefer the Creamy Tint Color Balm to the Creamy Tint Squeeze Lip.
