[REVIEW] NEW Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1

Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1 Review:

As I waked into the Innisfree store and came out with a full makeup set chosen by the employee and not by me, I tried the eye pencil first and the second thing I was most curious about was the blusher. I have only used cream blushers by Innisfree so this would be my first time with a powder one!

The contouring I wasn’t too excited, to be honest, because although I do enjoy highlighter I felt that contouring would be… awkward. But I tried that along with the blusher that was chosen for me, and I have thoughts I want to share!

How to use:

1.  After gently rubbing the brush with an appropriate amount, gently touch the part of the face where you want to give a natural shade, such as a chin line or a nose, or around the face and under the apples to define them.

2. The blush should be applied in the same manner on the places you want to add a natural hint of color, to make your face look more lively, defined, innocent – whatever look you want.

My Skin Type:

Oily T, dry U, sensitive, blemishes easily, and allergic. Dry, sensitive and allergic lips. Very thin, dehydrated and oily eyelids.

As usual with this type of products there isn’t much information on the package itself, but you can easily find all the information you need on the official website.

These new items from the My Palette collection were made in a way that you can easily use them as a standalone item, or you can remove them from the package and add them to one of the brand’s magnetic palettes.

They are made so that the concealers and eye shadows take the size of 1 square, and the highlighters, blushers, and contouring take the space of two squares.

To remove the item from the box you find these “lower” parts of the box on the back (close to the fold) and just use that to get It out. The metal from these products sticks to any other magnetic palette too!

Here is My Blusher next to the box. So, on the box you can see the magnet which is used to keep it in the box shall you choose to keep it there.

I actually got a magnetic palette so I removed mine, threw the magnet out, and saved the box to make experiences hehe.

I applied two layers of each of them with my finger. So you can actually see a lighter part, around the edges, and a darker part in the center where I reapplied it. These colors are actually quite easy to control, all you have to do is apply a small amount each time and that’s it.

I also don’t feel any scent on them and there is no fragrance on the list so that’s also a plus.

In the above pic I used both the blush and the contour. On my cheekbones the blush and under them the contouring. At the time I hadn’t decided which lipstick to wear, and was wearing the Innisfree Skinny Micro Liner on my eyelashes, and The Saem under eye maker as an eyebrow and teardrop color.

Since the blush has a very natural shine to it, and the contour isn’t as dark as I thought I think it works out really well. I also think they can work well regardless of skin tone since they are both a bit ashy.

It lasted the whole day, and it didn’t fade – my conclusion is that it lasts as long as your base makeup. It didn’t gather awkwardly and it didn’t change regardless of my dry or oily skin (they caught a bit of both skin types)!

On and on I am very satisfied with this and regret only using Innisfree cream blushers before!

I would like to add the same collection’s highlighter to my collection one day, when they have a promotion somewhere. I am pleasantly surprised, especially with my first contour ever~
