[Review] Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack

Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack:

Papa Recipe has been on my radar for ages! It is a very popular brand which carries all sorts of honey-containing products. I have to say that they’ve got some serious followers, especially their mask range. While many people have been stacking these masks, I couldn’t really get myself to buy some because I honestly feel that honey products would be too much for my combination/oily skin. But now that summer’s officially over, I’m just glad that I can now expand my horizon for I can now cross out “weather” amongst my never ending considerations when it comes to buying skincare products. I bought some Papa Recipe masks and I am most excited about the Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask.

Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack Review:

Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask comes in a very pretty packaging it was hard for me to cut this pretty open. My nose is welcomed by a very faint rose scent which to be frank, I still find old (I love roses but I don’t like this kind of floral scent, it’s too mature for my liking).

While I don’t like the scent and I was honestly a little bit disappointed because I was expecting that it would somehow smell sweet due to honey, I can say that I am fine with it. The scent isn’t overwhelming so I’m not complaining.

The essence used in this mask is clear –almost watery. I dropped a few at the back of my hand and I’m just glad that it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. As you can see, the material of this mask is printed with gold honeycomb. The photo doesn’t do it justice because it is so pretty in person.

I was a bit disappointed because I thought the material, given its price point, would somehow be of premium quality. The fit of this mask is just perfect on my face! It was able to cover my entire face and I didn’t get (cheek) overlaps so it didn’t get messy with my hair even if I left it untied. It has two cuts on chin area to adjust accordingly.

Adherence, on the other hand, is just perfect! It clung very well on my face and there’s no air/bubble gap between. I was able to wear it for about 20 minutes or so and I’m happy to report that there weren’t any uncomfortable sensation when I wore it.

My skin is really hydrated, moisturized and brighter after using this mask. My face is luminous and dewy I wanted to cry. What I especially liked about this mask is the fact that it helped with my redness. It also made my skin calmer.

Overall, I love Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask. It is indeed, a beautiful mask inside out. I have yet to try other variants of Papa Recipe so I’ve nothing to compare it with yet but this one is very effective in soothing/calming department.

With that being said, I highly recommend this mask! I feel that anyone, regardless of their skin type would enjoy this mask especially people who suffers redness or acne-prone skin.
