Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 12 Bloomy Orange Review:
Last year, I purchased the newest Peripera Airy Ink Velvet shade. I remember when they first launched, people were so excited and the lip tint was hyped everywhere including my country. Every online stores sold it and almost all shades were sold out within days.
I did buy it too and the shade I got was called 05 Elf Light Rose if I remember correctly but I didn’t like it (I think it was just me because everyone else seem loved it so much). Then they launched another 5 new shades for Fall collection and the colors were so pretty but I was hesitate to get it because I’m afraid the quality would be similar to the old one.
Until about 2 – 3 months ago, I saw Peripera launched another 5 shades for the Spring collection and some reviews I watched were saying how the new collection performed better. The shades were more colorful as well so finally I decided to try it once more.
+ Peripera’s gorgeous and weightless lip tint, the Ink Airy Velvet, provides full and glamorous color payoff with a velvety formula that provides comfort and a long-lasting effect.
+ The soft formula and feathery, unique applicator allows for easy, full application and dries down into a natural matte finish.
+ The “airy” formula feels luscious and never dries out your lips while the gentle tint left behind is a natural tone for an MLBB (My Lips But Better) look.
+ The Airy Ink Velvet collection can also double as a liquid blush tint and is safe to use on the skin! (Note: Application color may vary depending on skin tone.)

Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 12 Bloomy Orange Review:
I have to say that the Peripera Airy Ink Velvet has one of the best shades option among Korean lip tints, especially if you are neutrals shade lovers. From 15 shades available, I’m sure you will find at least one shade that will complement your complexion. Unfortunately for people with cool undertone, I think there’s only one shade that will suit your skin tone, and it’s a bright pink shade.
I got mine in shade 12 Bloomy Orange (another orange, I’m not even surprised) and it’s a true orange, like a carrot orange shade. I love how this shade is pretty wearable for daily activity and even though it’s an orange shade, it still look natural especially if you wear it thinly or used it for a gradient lips look. On my skin tone, it looks so pretty and brighten my overall complexion.
The packaging is pretty unique and I remember I really liked it when I saw it for the first time just because there’s no lip tints with packaging as cute as that. The bottle is more bulky but it’s short and small. The whole packaging is made from matte plastic material but it makes it hard to see the actual shade inside. I have 2 different shades but I can’t see the difference because of the material. The good thing is it makes the product feels more sturdy so I think it’s travel-friendly.
The applicator has a slanted shape and it helps in spreading the tint nicely without any patchiness on my lips. But because it doesn’t have a pointy tip, it’s hard to draw a precise line on the lips.
It does have a floral scent but it’s not as strong as the older release. The shade 05 Elf Light Rose that I got has a pretty strong scent and I don’t like it. I’m happy the scent in the new collection isn’t as strong. If you hate scented product, no worries because the scent will be gone right after you apply the tint on your lips.
It has good pigmentation. A dip is enough for my whole lips but to make the orange color pops out even more, 2 layers are recommended especially if you love more bold lip color.
The texture itself is more ‘waxy’ and slippery compared to the old one but it makes the lip tint feels more comfortable. It’s not moisturizing but it doesn’t make my lips feel dry so it’s an okay for me. Even though they advertise it as a velvet lip tint, I can’t feel the velvet finish because it’s so slippery.
After a few hours, I can see the tint starts to sink into my dry parts and look patchy. The lasting power is not the best too. The color will be gone after I eat and without eating or drinking, the color lasts for 3 to 4 hours max.
Will I repurchase it? I guess so because I still want to try the Fall collection. I’d recommend you to use lip balm first just to make sure that your lips are well-moisturized so the tint won’t stuck into your dry parts.
Overall I would give 3.7 out of 5. It’s not the best lip tint I’ve ever tried but the low price and its availability make the product is worth to try, especially if you are a makeup collector. The cute packaging will be a good addition to your collection!
