Peripera Ink Lacquer 04 Soft Rose Fix Review:
Before the ASMR collection, Peripera had launched another new product in their Ink tint family called ‘Ink Lacquer’. Actually I will not be surprised anymore if Peripera decided to come out with a new product in the near future since they are one of the brands that keep releasing new items for every several months. I’m not an avid fan of Peripera but I have to be honest, I will purchase every new lip tints from them because not only they are affordable, they also innovative and following latest trend.
Ink Lacquer is the newest addition in the Ink series. If you ever tried Ink the Gelato from Peripera, you will find some similarities between the 2 products even though they have totally different texture and finish because once again, Peripera decided to re-use the packaging style of Ink the Gelato and make a small change here and there.
As usual, Peripera makes the tint in 5 shades only and most of the shades are more on the pinkish side. Not gonna lie, the shade selection seems lacking a bit. I want to see Peripera came out with a very brown or beige shade and maybe they will make it for their next fall collection.
+ Weightless, smooth and intense lip tint that glides on effortlessly.
+ A non-transferring formula that makes sure it stays on throughout the day.

Peripera Ink Lacquer 04 Soft Rose Fix Review:
The packaging is nothing special, especially if you own their Ink the Gelato. The packaging is exactly the same and from the picture you can see that they only change some small parts. So every time Peripera came out with a new release, I won’t expect them to make a new packaging.
For the applicator, they use a doe-foot with a rounded shape. For me, it doesn’t work that well in distributing the tint on my lips because the doe-foot doesn’t pick up enough product, even if I want to use it thinly to make a gradient effect.
The tint itself has good pigmentation so it’s definitely not the tint fault if I have to dip the applicator over and over again.
Because of the rounded shape I also met some difficulties in applying the tint. It doesn’t reach my lips corner and it also hard to make a precise line (those two are my main problems if I used a non-pointy tip applicator) so it’s easy to make my lips look messy and uneven.
From the 5 shades, I got one in number 04 Soft Rose Fix. It’s a bit surprising that I got a pink shade, even I surprised myself but based on reviews online, the shade 04 is the prettiest for fair to light skin.
This time the official swatch picture from Peripera is not that different with the actual shade in real life so you can pick one based by the official swatch only.
04 Soft Rose Fix is a rosy pink color. It’s not a light pink but more like a muted soft pink on my skin tone. I have neutral – yellow undertone though so it looks warmer on me. If you have cool undertone, I think the shade will look more on the pink side.
The shade is really pretty, I really like it even though I’m not a huge fan of pink lip tint. It gives me a feminine vibe and it will be a perfect shade if you want to have a natural or fresh spring makeup look.
Unlike the older release, this time Peripera makes a tint in true matte finish! So far all their finish is velvet and glossy so it’s refreshing to see finally they come with a new finish.
The thing is, they set immediately after application so it’s hard to blend and I can’t even make a gradient lip because they set too fast.
To make a decent gradient look, I have to dab a sponge (that still has a left-over foundation on it) around the edge of my lips so i can get an even gradient lips. It takes too much time for me especially if I’m in hurry so most of the times I apply the tint on my lips fully.
The good side is the tint is not drying at all. Usually a matte lip can makes lips feel dry and look cracky but it doesn’t happen with this tint. After it set, I touch my lips and they feel so soft and smooth. If you ever tried a lip powder, it feels exactly like that.
The lasting power though, is average for a matte lip. It fades after I ate oily foods but it doesn’t fade fully and it leaves some color on the lips. It can look blotchy so every time I ate, I have to re-apply.
But before that, I have to wipe my lips first because if I apply on the leftover color, my lips will look dry and patchy. It usually happen with a matte lip so I’m not surprised.
Overall I would say that this is a good tint. It doesn’t make my lips feel dry or uncomfortable and it has decent lasting power as well. For its price, it’s pretty affordable for a tint with these qualities.
The only bad side for me is they should change or improve the applicator and it’d be good if they add other shades because not everyone love matte bright lip color.
I can’t see myself getting another one on the future because of the shade selection so unless they add more neutral shades, I won’t get another one but if you are a fan of those type of colors, I’m sure you will love this tint!
