Peripera Ink Tint Serum 01 Over Pretty Review:
It feels like Peripera just launched the Mood Blank collection yesterday but suddenly they came out with a new product! The newest Ink Tint Serum is a lip tint with serum-like effect to give your lips moistness with good pigmentation. I personally think it’s a good idea to launch this type of product as winter is coming and we need something to keep our lips dry in this cold season.
From the physical appearance, it’s not too different compared to other lip ink tint series from Peripera. I guess I always said this but I kinda hoping for them to make it in a new style of packaging or at least something unique but no, they always recycled their older packaging design for their new products.
A moist serum-like lip tint that gives clear sheen with long-lasting intense color payoff

Peripera Ink Tint Serum 01 Over Pretty Review:
Peripera Ink Tint Serum has a moisturizing finish compared to their older releases, maybe that’s why this time Peripera decided to make the bottle with shiny effect. Except for the shine packaging, there’s nothing different at all.
Because of this I have nothing to say about the packaging except that I really hope to see Peripera come up with something new or more unique and creative design for their new products.
It has a flat doe-foot applicator and it picks up a good amount of product, considering that this tint is more runny than the others in this tint family. It has a nice and wide-enough surface to help the tint spread more even and surprisingly, the applicator feels a little bit more flexible thus it’s easier to apply it on my lips.
This collection has 5 shades available to choose and I have to say that if you aren’t a fan of bold or bright lip color then you may won’t like the shade range. Among those 5 shades, there’s no natural shade at all.
The lightest one is the shade I chose which is the number 01 Over Pretty. Peripera describes the shade as a ‘Coral Pink’ color and while it’s true that it looks coral when I swatch it my hand, it looks like a reddish pink shade instead of coral when I apply it on the lips.
It is very pretty though and I really like it. I think this shade will suit fair to medium skin tone the most as it is the lightest shade out of the bunch but on deep skin tone, this could be the perfect shade to combine with a deeper shade to make a gradient lips.
The shade is pretty pigmented and for a formula and finish like this, I really appreciate how Peripera is able to make a pigmented shade like this. Because of the texture, I still have to apply the tint several times to achieve a full pigmentation but for a moisturizing lip tint with a glossy finish, it’s actually amazing to have this level of pigmentation.
As its name suggests, it has a shiny effect just like a lip gloss, even I think it is a colored-lip gloss instead of a tint because of the texture. It gives my lips a plumping effect thanks to the shine effect in it and it feels lightweight on the lips even with all the glossiness. The thing that differentiates this tint with a gloss is how it leaves a stain on the lips and stay a bit longer than a regular lip gloss.
Because it has a glossy finish, do not expect it to stay as long as a velvet or matte tint would. After you eat, the glossy effect will wear down and you need to reapply if you want some shine back on your lips.
I don’t mind though because it leaves a stain and my lips doesn’t look patchy or bad. Another thing to note is how it transfers everywhere your lips touch! This is the only thing I don’t like from this tint but I’m not surprised because almost all of moisturizing lip products are easier to wear off and not transferproof.
I do have some dry areas on my lips so I kinda sceptical about the ‘moist serum-like’ formula because most of the times, this kind of lip tint still emphasize the dry parts and make the application not so smooth but fortunately it doesn’t!
On the contrary, it helps blur out my dry areas and even some of my fine lines (I do have a lot of lines on my lips) as if I have some clear top coat on my lips.
I would highly recommend this lip tint especially if you are looking for a moisturizing and pigmented lip tint and kind of bored with a velvet lip tint. I would also suggest this if you have dry lips and are having a hard time finding a nice lip tint that won’t make your lips as dry as a desert. This tint is also very affordable so it won’t be a burden for your bank!
