[REVIEW] PhytoTree Get It Bean Mask Moisturizing

PhytoTree Get It Bean Mask Moisturizing Review:

I got this mask after receiving one of the brand’s hand cream for reviewing. The results were decent, the price was mid-range, but the package is on top with the cuteness! So I decided to try a mask. Why? Wouldn’t you love it if your friends gave you good presents with a cute packaging? Well, I know my friends like that kind of stuff – and since I’m a sucker for cuteness myself I tried it for myself too! And yes, to me beans are cute.

This mask aims to provide hydration to dry and flaky skin with the help of sodium hyaluronate, giving you radiant skin and soothed skin.

Green Pea Been Extract (45%), Mung Beans Extract (45%), Glycerin, Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Mate Leaf Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Green Tea Extract, Purified Water, Perfume, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol

Volume: 20g

How to use:

1. After cleansing, refine the skin texture with toner.

2. Peel off the mesh in half of the mask and apply the mask adjusting it around the eyes and mouth.

3. Leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes and then remove the mask.

4. Gently pat the remaining essence until fully absorbed into the skin.

My Skin Type:

Oily T, dry U, sensitive, blemishes easily, and allergic. Dry, sensitive and allergic lips. Very thin, dehydrated and oily eyelids.

Well it was the easiest opening ever because it was so short anyway, I just wanted to share! You remove the mask by squeezing it out like a popsicle, I love this. But on a less nice note, the essence did splatter around a little, and I had to squeeze the mask down to be able to open it with the easy opening.

The mask comes out in a tube, and for once I can say this brand did not waste packaging space, all the package they used was actually the right size for the mask.

The mask has half a gauze to keep it well folded and separated – which ends up being very important since the mask is relatively thin and separating it myself would be a struggle.

The fit is okay when it comes to the size and curves of the face, the problem is that there is almost no adherence because of the type of essence and so the mask slid down a little while I had it on and, about half the time, I had to drag it back up.

Another downside is that on my nose area I have to keep flattening it down, since there is no adherence as I said.

The smell is fine, sweet and not that strong. Completely unidentifiable but also completely fake and unnatural. But since it’s a light smell I still like it.

Here on the arm test the essence wasn’t sticky at any point and absorbed completely – like an oil essence. But the texture of this essence is a “waterdrop” type, which is a type of texture I particularly like. If you don’t know what waterdrop is, then allow me to explain! You have a cream or liquid, and then it separates into small water droplets once you spread it on your skin! (see the second photo from the collage).

While wearing the mask I felt very happy but honestly it was because I had just put something green pea shaped on my skin and not because the mask felt magical or particularly relaxing. The results are nice and seem very hydrating, there was no moisture in my skin but the waterdrop texture allows the moisture from the next steps of the skin care routine to be absorbed and stick to the skin for a long time. (I can’t believe I forgot to take a before and after photo for you guys)

I wouldn’t say this is a great mask for a Saturday night spa, but for a morning mask when you want everything to absorb to apply your makeup it’s a really decent mask. Not to mention adorable. I rate it a 4/5, although I think they could sell it for a little cheaper.
