PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum Review:
PURITO brand has been quite a hype nowadays, isn’t it? It proclaims the products to be nature-friendly and safe, as well as the concepts. I’ve been contemplating to try some products of PURITO’s since both my moisturizer and morning serum were running out, but finally decided to buy PURITO serum first since my previous ELIZAVECCA CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum diminished faster than I thought.
Besides PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum, I also considered PURITO Hyaluronic Acid Serum and PURITO Green Level Buffet Serum. This one finally prevailed because (1) its main ingredient is Snail Secretion Filtrate instead of water (like in PURITO Green Level Buffet Serum); and (2) its concern toward repairment which I really need while battling with pollution.
+ This serum contained 93% of highly concentrated snail mucus found in nature rejuvenates the stressed skin and it helps to make shiny skin by improving dull and dark skin due to dryness.
+ With Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid and Centella Asiatica extract, they help soothe skin weakened from external stimulus and strengthen the skin barrier.
+ Made from hand-picked top quality ingredients, this product is suitable for sensitive skin.

PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum Review:
PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum comes in a pump-bottle packaged in a box. The box itself was made from recycle cardbox and contained full product information in both English and Korean. In the inner side of the box, PURITO includes the brand’s story, concept, philosophy.
As for the bottle, it’s black-colored, plastic-made, and it also has a transparent closure to ensure the pump’s hygiene. As a reference, just imagine the box and bottle of BENTON Snail Bee High Content Essence – they’re highly resemblant.
This product has colorless appearance, sticky-but- runny texture, and thankfully, odorless. I think the colorless and odorless features are mainly related to PURITO’s motto to be safe for skin, while I found the sticky texture nice because it convinces me of this product’s star ingredient – snail secretion filtrate.
You know, I was very disappointed when I repurchased BENTON Snail Bee High Content Essence, only to find out that the main ingredient had been replaced from snail secretion filtrate to water; so the first thing I did after received this PURITO product was checking out the ingredients’ list.
This product absorbed pretty fast in my skin, but left faintly sticky feeling. I was glad I didn’t have to wait too long before applying the next skincare steps, though. It made my skin more moisturized and nice to touch because it felt healthy.
However, it didn’t seem to leave significant differences in long-term, so I decided to use it parallel with my remaining The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum (which should be replaced by this PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum). The Ordinary serum on the right side of my face while the Purito serum is on the left.
After approximately 2 – 3 weeks of comparison, sadly I didn’t see much difference between both sides. During my monthly period, both sides still suffered from small pimples, although the Purito’s side produced smaller and less number of pimples. But I didn’t feel satisfied at all, seeing that its main component is Snail Secretion Filtrate which supposedly better than this.
Compared to the claims of (1) Rejuvenating stressed skin and improving dull, dark skin; (2) Soothing weakened skin and strengthening skin barrier, I didn’t feel a superb result as it says.
Anyway, I’m still pleased with how light this serum feels after being applied. It provides nice feeling of moisture and cooling sensation with minimal stickiness, yet it’s absorbed very fast into the skin. After all, this PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum is perfect for a part of a morning routine, but I prefer other serums for the night.
Night skincare routines should be more serious compared to the morning ones, I believe? This product doesn’t give much nutrition and moisture during sleeping time, but good enough for a quick routines before putting some make-ups and starting the days.
I must agree that PURITO pays more attention to skin safety by putting as minimal ingredients as it could. First thing is, I think the ingredients list is quite short, and I’m happy with it. Moreover, CosDNA states that this product contains only necessary components as everything has ‘1’ safety index except for Ethyl Hexanediol which is a solvent + fragrance.
Considering these, I deem PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum would be suitable for anyone, and any skin condition who needs a basic moisturizing serum.
