[Review] Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet

Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet Review:

We always see hyaluronic acid or hyaluron in many skincare products and it is truly essential in maintaining skin’s moisture and suppleness. Hyaluronic acid keeps skin balanced when it comes to its moisture barrier, in order to replenish itself and renew skin layers. Hyaluronic acid is also known to hold intense amounts of moisture to keep skin soft and hydrated.

I have been using a lot of skincare products that contain hyaluronic acid from hydrating toners to skin conditioners to creams so I was naturally drawn to this sheet mask since I really love Etude House’s new 0.22 mm air masks.

Claims:

Etude House’s Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask main ingredient is its hyaluronic acid that can bind moisture and keep it from escaping skin. It can hold water and maintain a healthy water moisture balance, resulting in moist and more youthful skin. When we age, our skin loses that plumpness and moisture and this mask can provide hydration, firmness, plumpness and supple skin. This mask can also revitalize and renew skin’s outer layers and improve fine lines and wrinkles, making skin softer and smoother as well.

Ingredients:

Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet Review

Volume: 20 ml

How to use:

Important note: Please complete a skin patch test for this hyalurnic acid sheet mask first.

  1. After double cleansing, prepare skin by applying toner.
  2. Open pack and carefully remove mask. This is one of the thinnest sheet masks I have ever used, please be careful in unfolding this mask.
  3. Place mask on center of face and remove any air bubbles by flattening sheet mask on skin area.
  4. Wear mask for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Remove mask and gently pat face to absorb remaining essence.

My Skin Type: Normal/Combination

Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet Review:

Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask is my first hyaluronic mask and honestly, I don’t know if there are any other hyaluronic sheet masks out there. First of all, I am in love with Etude’s new Air Therapy masks, they are so thin and light like wearing yes, you guessed it, air.

The sheet mask boasts a 0.22 millimeter thickness, which can be comparable to Taiwanese silk sheet masks. It can be delicate but I think it is sturdy enough since all Etude Air Therapy masks do not have any backing.

Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet Review

The essence is extremely runny and watery. When I put the mask on, it was literally dripping. The essence has no discernible scent, it was very faint yet pleasant. Despite only having 20 ml of essence, there was plenty left inside the pack and I slathered it on my elbows and knees.

My skin was refreshed and I felt really relaxed and soothed with this hyaluronic mask. I can feel absorbing so much moisture since I have skipped sheet masking for two days and this sheet mask is just what my skin needed.

When I removed Etude House Air Therapy Hyaluronic Acid Mask, my skin was glistening, moist and very plump. At first I thought that only emulsion type sheet masks or honey sheet masks can deeply moisturize skin but by far, this is the one of the freshest yet deeply hydrating sheet masks I have ever tried.

The essence took only a little while to sink into my skin. This is definitely a mask that offers radiant skin, with a shiny finish yet not sticky but just moist. I think this mask is good for all skin types. Drier types can definitely benefit from the moisturizing properties of hyaluronic acid and oily ones can appreciate the hydrating yet soothing and light essence of this mask.

When I woke up the next day, my skin is still radiant and glowy however not even toned. This is a very good highly  moisturizing sheet mask that is definitely not sticky or tacky, I simply think it’s magical. The thin sheet mask material of Etude House Air Therapy masks are definitely a plus for me, will repurchase this.
