[Review] Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum

When I was searching for a Vitamin C serum to address my post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation concerns, I was looking for an affordable product that delivered visible results. I also have skin that can be sensitive at times, and I knew I did not want a formulation that was too harsh or caused any stinging. When I was searching for mild Vitamin C serums, I came across Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum. Let’s see how it fared for my skin.

This product claims to fade dark spots, brighten skin and even out complexion, and reduction of fine lines.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum Review:

I was actually looking for pure versus stabilized forms of Vitamin C. The pure forms of Vitamin C can be destabilized quickly over time, that is why it is important to take a lot of precautions such as storing it in a cool, dark place and making sure the container is sealed tightly.

The container should also be dark colored to prevent light from destabilizing the vitamin C. Once Vitamin C is destabilized, it is ineffective and turns into a brown hue. Vitamin C that is stabilized does not need to be stored in a dark bottle and also has a longer shelf life.

The technology that is involved in stabilized forms of Vitamin C is just as effective as the pure forms, and the key ingredient is “Ascorbyl Palmitate”.

The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C serum is a stabilized form of 5% Vitamin C, which means it can last longer, can be stored in a pretty clear container, and is suitable for all skin types especially sensitive skin. After using this product for 8 weeks, I can appreciate a difference with my acne spots.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum Review

I had post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from a few pimples and this Vitamin C serum greatly faded my dark brown spots throughout these 8 weeks. I know that with patience and continued use, this serum will completely fade my spots.

My favorite thing about this product is the smell and the texture. The product feels slightly warmed as you pat it into your skin, and it absorbs nicely. I use it at night after cleanser, toner, and essence. After I let the product absorb all over my face, I use a moisturizer or a sleeping pack.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum Review

When I used this product for the very first time, I felt a slight tingling sensation but it went away quickly. Since then, I have not had any burning or tingling sensation on my face.

I know that stronger Vitamin C products can be harsh and irritating on the skin, so this is why I truly love the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum because it delivers results without being harsh to my sensitive skin.

The packaging is also very cute- it is in a clear bottle and looks very trendy. I also think that the dropper quality is excellent and the bottle has a very tight seal.

With any product, especially if you want to fade problem spots, patience is required because nothing works overnight. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to reduce hyperpigmentation and have a more even skin tone. This product is also great for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin. I plan on repurchasing this when I run out (and a little goes a long way!).

  1. Hi! I just want to ask where do you store your klairs Vitamin C? Is it okay if I store mine in a vanity cabinet in my room? Thank you!
