[Review] Sally’s Box Loverecipe Peach Mask Sheet

Sally’s Box Loverecipe Peach Mask Sheet Review:

To be honest, the Peach variant of this sheet mask series was the first that caught my eye. And as I am definitely the type to save the best for last, I had rather high hopes that out of the three masks I’ve purchased (the others being Broccoli and Pomegranate), I’d end up liking this one the best. So, onto the review!

  • Aimed to keep skin smooth and firm.
  • The naturally derived triple layered cellulose sheet mask material has been developed specifically to avoid skin irritation and adheres tightly to the contours of the face.

Sally’s Box Loverecipe Peach Mask Sheet Review:

Similar to the rest of the sheet masks from the Sally’s Box Loverecipe line, the packaging of the Peach mask consists of characters from Pape Popo, an animated cartoon series revolving around a couple: Pape, “a man of pure heart who resembles the sky”, and Popo, “a beautiful girl of bubbly character who dreams of romance and love”.

In terms of the actual mask, tearing open the packaging reveals a scent milder than the previous two masks I’ve tried. While it definitely has a distinct peach-ish scent, it’s bearable and less cloying.

The mask material itself is not too thin nor too thick, and feels relatively comfortable throughout the masking session.

After the maximum recommended 20 minute wait time, I took off the mask to find my face decently moisturized without any sticky residue.

I patted the extra essence into my skin and found that it layered nicely with the rest of the products in my usual skincare routine. No irritation or itchiness detected. However, as it has a creamy, lotion texture, the essence does border on feeling heavy on the skin.

Overall, I’d rate this a decent 3/5. It’s a reasonably priced mask with reasonably good results, but not particularly “wow”-worthy. However, this is just my opinion and those with drier skin types who prefer creamy mask essences would probably enjoy this more.

But I would like to note, though, that out of the three Loverecipe masks I’ve tried, I do find this the best out of the bunch. So if you’re ever curious of picking up a mask from the sheet mask line, do give this variant a try!
