COSRX Aloe Vera Oil-free Moisture Cream Review

COSRX Aloe Vera Oil-free Moisture Cream Review:

I got this cream at the beginning of summer because I needed a morning cream that is lightweight but also moisturizing enough for my combination skin. I tend to like COSRX as a brand, and their products are great for problematic skin, so I figured this Aloe Vera cream just screamed my name.

[REVIEW] Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner

Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner Review

Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner Review:

I am a bit toners and FTEs junkie. I mean, yes, I am skin care junkie from head to toe, but there is something about these liquid wonders that make my wallet itch. I have all sorts of them: pH adjusting, hydrating, with or without snail mucin, all types of fermented everything… Well, you get the picture. This one in particular is with aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, snail secretion filtrate, and very interesting BHA – salicylic acid.

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel Review

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel Review:

As being a Korean skincare aficionado, and having skin this handful, looking up Benton’s window is pretty much inevitable. “It’s only logical” as would Spock say. Also browsing their website and seeing description of a product like this:

ALOE PROPOLIS SOOTHING GEL is for all types of skin including sensitive and troubled skin. The product contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, rich in polysaccharides and Propolis Extract, well known for its soothing properties. This soothing gel prevents skin damage, leaving skin refreshed and hydrated.

Aaaand I was sold.

Innisfree Aloe Revital Skin Mist Review:

I found this product online one day as I was searching for new skin mists or misting toners. I had never tried an Innisfree product before this purchase, but I have always heard good things about them, especially in regard to their skin care products, and I had been eyeing this brand for quite some time because of this – I just did not know what to buy first! [Review] Skinfood Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel SPF50+ PA+++

Skinfood Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel SPF50+ PA+++ Review

Skinfood Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel SPF50+ PA+++ Review:

I have never really liked sunscreen before but since my dermatologist made it perfectly clear it’s a must, I embarked on my quest to find the perfect sunscreen. I have tried a few dozen Western ones and they were all either too greasy, or too white, or too patchy, or too cakey. So after all the good things I have heard and read about Korean sunscreens I decided to give them a shot. After a lot of research, one of the first I ordered was Skinfood Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel and I am very happy I did.

[Review] The Saem 99% Jeju Fresh Aloe Soothing Gel

The Saem 99% Jeju Fresh Aloe Soothing Gel Review

The Saem 99% Jeju Fresh Aloe Soothing Gel Review:

After spending hours online in search of a good aloe product, I settled on this one because of its alleged “99% aloe” ingredient as opposed to the more often 95% or even 92% aloe products I have seen on the market. I just wanted something that was as much aloe-based as I could get because my skin was irritated, dry, and sensitive at the time that I needed it.

[Review] Tonymoly ICE Aloe Soothing Cooler

Tonymoly ICE Aloe Soothing Cooler Review

Tonymoly ICE Aloe Soothing Cooler was purchased by Cosmeperks.

The thing that was intriguing about this product at first is that when they advertised it, it looked like a mist of some sort, but on the (poor quality) photos and video it looked like a foam. Also, they didn’t say exactly what it did, but you could see on the package that it lowers your skin temperature almost 10 Celsius degrees! Those who live in a humid and hot country like Korea (I miss Portugal in the summer, it’s just hot, not humid, so if you find shadow and you’re fine) need to find resources such as this. Because you can’t hide from the heat, the humidity makes sure it reaches everywhere!

So, I went to the store, grabbed one, and started studying it.

[Review] Leaders Insolution Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Mask Sheet

Leaders Insolution Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Mask Sheet Review

Leaders Insolution Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Mask Sheet Review:

Aloe is used among many cultures around the world as a healing, soothing and moisturizing wonder plant that is used for a multitude of skin issues and treatments. It is most famously known to treat and heal sunburns, serves as a good moisturizer that is great even for oily types and most importantly, heal and soothe skin irritations and inflammations especially acne.

I love Leaders sheet masks as they are my “emergency” masks which are very effective in healing and targeting any redness, itchiness or bumps that are trying to emerge. Naturally, I wanted to try their soothing aloe sheet mask due to an irritated patch of skin  I developed during summer here.

[Review] Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review:

If I get really famous one day and someone actually asked me to do a “what’s in your bag” episode you would found that anti-histamines is definitely a staple! You see, I am pretty much allergic; to what, exactly, I could not tell either nor the dermatologist that I have visited before but it has been the case since I was a kid and I’ve been so used to carrying anti-histamine in my pouch.

I would usually get red patches (sometimes without even realizing because most of the time, they aren’t even itchy) and my condition is being aggravated by the summer heat. Considering how sensitive my skin could get, I shy away from lotion, body creams or any other stuff that you slather on your body for extra moisture.

Besides, I am not comfortable on wearing such because they are so thick and way too heavy for my liking. But then again, there are times when I get really dry patches so I keep myself open for products that may alleviate my condition sans le grease.

And that’s exactly how I found Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel –hold your horses, I am not reviewing that! ☺ The aforementioned product seems alright for me but I generally dislike stuff that comes in tub because I find them unhygienic and I don’t really feel like carrying a bulky tub around so I was pretty ecstatic when I found that the famous Aloe Gel also comes in mist form! Let’s see if I’ve come like Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist as much as the original form.
