[Review] Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrator EX

Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrator EX Review

Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrator EX Review:

Rose water has been considered as a traditional beauty water that is also just as versatile. Rose water can control excess oils and maintain a healthy ph balance for skin, has powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, full of anti-oxidants and most of all, can hydrate and moisturize skin.

Of course, I was drawn to the elegant true rose scent of Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrator EX and this is also my first rose toner. Along with its night gelly version, the scent of this hydrating toner is so natural and addicting, I totally love this!

[Review] Nature Republic O2 Bubble Mask Sheet (and wash off mask) | Black Rose & Lotus

Nature Republic O2 Bubble Mask Sheet Lotus and Black Rose Review

Nature Republic O2 Bubble Mask Sheet (and wash off mask) | Black Rose & Lotus Review:

At some point this year, and briefly bubbly masks were a thing you could see with some frequency. That fashion didn’t stick for long, but is that a good thing or a bad thing? These masks from Nature Republic are particularly peculiar since, even though they all work like this, they specify that it’s a mask sheet and wash off mask. For Korean skin care, stating two types instead of only the main one is very unusual!

So, let’s analyze these two flower masks, see how they feel, and more importantly: do they work and are they worthy of your time?

[Review] Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid

Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid Review

Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid Review:

The term ‘chemical exfoliation’ may sound a bit scary (well, to me anyway!), but it is actually gentler and more effective than physical exfoliation. Physical exfoliation works to get rid of the dead skin just on the surface, and sometimes can be a bit harsh for the skin. When it is harsh it can cause micro-tear, and that is pretty much an invitation to bacteria to come and have an acne party on your face. While chemical exfoliation on the other hand works deeper to loosen up dead skin cells and sebum and at the same time promotes healthy cell regeneration.

Swanicoco Skin Expert One Step Fermentation Snail Care Emulsion Review

Swanicoco Skin Expert One Step Fermentation Snail Care Emulsion Review:

Swanicoco’s Snail Fermentation line is much loved by the Asian Beauty community and I was lucky to grab a good deal of this emulsion along with its hydrating toner. This emulsion boasts of fermented goodness of rice, soybeans and many botanicals including licorice that brightens, snail filtrate that moisturizes and repairs and green tea extracts that protect the skin. These special ingredients can rejuvenate, nourish and brighten skin, that also provide moisture and a healthy glow. I was actually just looking for a lighter version of a snail cream that I use during night and I was pleasantly surprised with my Swanicoco discovery, which made this one of my praised skincare products.

[Review] Son and Park Beauty Water

Son and Park Beauty Water Review

Son and Park Beauty Water Review:

I am already an avid follower of the double cleansing method, but as I came across the possibility of beauty waters and a third cleanse I became intrigued by this next step. I knew that double cleansing with an oil based and a water-based cleanser greatly improved my skin texture and was excellent for removing a full face of makeup and impurities. However, the third cleanse with the Son and Park Beauty Water was meant for removing any remaining traces of make-up or debris. As I researched the Beauty Water more, I discovered that it was truly a multi-tasking product, which is always a bonus for me. Not only can it be used as a third cleanse toner at the end of the day, but it can also be used in the morning to prep the skin for makeup application, or anytime in the middle of the day to refresh the skin! Let’s see how this lovely multi-tasking toner fared for my skin.
