[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Soft Drink Tint OR201 Grapefruit Fantasy

Etude House Soft Drink Tint OR201 Grapefruit Fantasy Review

Etude House Soft Drink Tint OR201 Grapefruit Fantasy Review:

When I saw Etude posting their latest product, the Soft Drink Tint, I thought the packaging is very cute but the color selection is pretty basic and similar to each other. I didn’t plan to get it because of the shades but then I read Ana’s review along with the complete soft drink tint swatches (thanks to her for showing the swatches) so I got to know what the shades will look in real life.

The tint is available in 5 different shades, 4 being bold, vivid colors and the other one is more like a lip topper with a glossy finish. Among those 4 colored shades, I pick the shade Grapefruit Fantasy because it’s more my shade. Actually I wanted to get the red one at first but when I saw how red it was, I changed my mind.

It is summer in Korea so I think this tint is perfect because it has summer vibe and as its name, soft drink is really popular when the weather is hot. As expected, Etude House is one brand that follow the trend and always giving us new products with cute and unexpected packaging.

[REVIEW] MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki

MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki Review

MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki Review:

The thought of dyeing my hair temporarily came when I planned to go on a short vacation. Actually there was still a trace of brownish from my last dye. Some parts of my hair was still dry and had split ends also, due to the last dye I did to my hair. So this time, I preferred to try a temporary hair colorant that wouldn’t cause more breakage and this notation came to my mind : why not trying a color treatment ampoule? Moreover, I could choose an uncommon color since it will rinsed off after 1 – 2 weeks.

It took me some weeks to contemplate between some brands, from Etude House to April Skin. However, I chose MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule at the end. It has more color options and much more economic too; it costs less than $8 for 30 mL and around $14 for 60 mL.

[REVIEW] Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review:

Frankly speaking, I always find it tricky to do product review toward sheet masks. I personally think that one shouldn’t make opinion or verdict only by just once usage. You know, sheet masks always claim something ‘woah’ like ‘nourishes skin’, ‘make skin bright and glossy’, or even ‘improve skin texture’, but I’ve never wished a pipe dream like those after waking up in the morning (I always use the sheet mask before a night-sleep). And I hope you think the same, because I’m afraid the first thing you’ll find in the morning is disappointment.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m an anti. To put it better, I’m actually a big fan of sheet masks. Sheet masks are very beneficial for the skin, that’s why I frequently use a sheet mask each week. I just want you to lower your expectations and be realistic, since those admiring effect couldn’t be seen by using only one or two masks.

Since I frequently use a sheet mask, I’ve rambled around many brands and types of sheet masks so I hope my review would be objective and helpful. I don’t usually review a sheet mask, unless it leaves a lingering feeling or some impression to me, just like what MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask – Rice does.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser (New Packaging)

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser Review

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser Review:

Innisfree is slowly renewing all of its superfood lines. I thought at first they were literally renewing (like, updating the products) but let me tell you beforehand when it comes to the Blueberry line nothing changed except for the design! I have two products from this line so I decided to check the ingredients, and at first in this cleanser the new version’s website ingredients were different!

So after a long messy week I came to know the ingredients on the website were for a future (unreleased) big version of this product. And no, the big version isn’t different, but since it’s big it has “more” blueberry and glycerin and etc, because they are measured by physical amount and not percentage.

With that out of the way, when I first started using this cleanser (actually even when I bought it) I was expecting it to be like a less good version of the Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser. I expected it to be “just a foam” that stripped the moisture a little, but with a low pH would be less harmful for the skin. Well, I must say it did surprise me and it’s way better than I thought!

Comparison Review: Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 11 Pinkish Grapefruit vs Peripera Ink Gelato 01 Lively Red

Comparison Review Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 11 Pinkish Grapefruit Vs Peripera Ink Gelato 01 Lively Red

Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 11 Pinkish Grapefruit Vs Peripera Ink Gelato 01 Lively Red

I never blame Peripera for taking my money since I do love their products, especially their lip products. Lately, Peripera added some Spring-Summer shades for their Ink Airy Velvet and few weeks after that they launched their new lip color, Peripera Ink Gelato. Of course, I couldn’t skip both of them.

They added 5 lovely colors for Peripera Ink Airy Velvet and I chose the shade #11 which is Pinkish Grapefruit. Meanwhile the Ink Gelato has 5 pretty colors as well and I got mine in shade #1 Lively Red. In this review I will compare both the Ink Airy Velvet and Ink Gelato, so if you are a newbie in Peripera’s lip product and confused which one is better to buy, you come to the right place!

[REVIEW] Deciem Abnomaly Petrowhat? Lip Balm Bali aka Pineapple Flavour

Deciem Abnomaly Petrowhat? Lip Balm Bali aka Pineapple Flavour was purchased by Cosmeperks.

If you follow beauty trends, you must have heard about Deciem. They are known for their sub-brand called The Ordinary that specialized for skin care and make up which were very hyped last year. Their products are so budget-friendly and based on some reviews I read, the results on the skin are amazing. I always want to try their product but they always sold out here in my country so it’s really a war if you want to get something from them.

Recently Deciem launched another brand called Abnomaly and Petrowhat? is one of the first releases. Nigama gave me a chance to try their Petrowhat? (interesting name, I know) and I was so excited to try something different once in a while.

Petrowhat? is a lip and skin ointment in one product and they have 4 different flavors you can choose from. The flavor consists of Bali (pineapple), Milk (coconut milk), Rio (guava), and Baobab (I don’t know what flavor it is. The website even describes it as ‘what’s that?’ flavor). Among those 4 options, my local seller only has Bali and Baobab in stock so I choose the Bali one since I’m not sure what Baobab is.

The most exciting things from this ointment (especially if you are vegan) are that they are gluten-free, nut-free, alcohol-free, vegan, silicone-free, and even cruelty-free! I’m not vegan but I really appreciated that they didn’t test this on animals. They also replaced Petrolatum (thing you can find in most ointments that can cause clogged pores) with natural ingredients, that’s definitely a plus point for me.

[REVIEW] Tonymoly Strawberry Seeds 3-step Nose Pack

Tonymoly Strawberry Seeds 3-step Nose Pack Review

Tonymoly Strawberry Seeds 3-step Nose Pack Review:

Admittedly, there are a lot of peel-off masks on the market, specifically those targeting black head removal. Even further, many brands have come out with 3 step solutions to black head removal. The reviews have generally been mixed, however the TONYMOLY 3-step Nose Pack seems to have the most positive reviews and since I am yet to find a mask that removes my blackheads I decided to give this one a go.

[REVIEW] Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97%

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97% Review

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97% Review:

There are a good number of Korean skincare and cosmetics products that adopt cutesy designs to attract female consumers. There is a part of me that goes “wooh” and “wah” over these too. But there is just one brand that I think was meant to achieve this, but somehow I did not take to it – Elizavecca.

Reading up on the brand story of Elizavecca, it was said to be established by a “Korean student who studied traditional Chinese medicine” in Year 2011. The brand prides itself on offering its products at affordable prices to allow more people to enjoy beautiful skin. It uses picture of a pig and many of its products has the word “piggy” on their name. I do not find the pig cute and in fact felt that the whole feel of its range of products feel unprofessional and unconvincing.

But as I was searching for hyaluronic product to alleviate my dehydrated skin, this Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% which garnered many raved reviews kept coming up on the search results.  So I decided I should cast aside my biasness and give it a try.

[REVIEW] Missha Pop Tastic Jelly Tint Sweet Papaya

Missha Pop Tastic Jelly Tint Sweet Papaya Review

Missha Pop Tastic Jelly Tint Sweet Papaya Review:

Missha Pop Tastic Jelly Tint is not a new product from Missha, in fact they were released about 1 – 2 year ago and even collaborated with LINE Friends and made the tint with the characters from LINE on the packaging.

If I’m not mistaken they had 6 to 7 shades available when they launched it but recently, I believe they added 4 more shades on the collection. Actually their shades selection are pretty good, they have light shades like pink and orange but with the additional shades, you can even get the more neon or deeper shades. To be honest the reason I got this lip tint was just because the shades range.

Missha itself in my opinion isn’t that well-known in lip tint department. They are more famous for their face products (their BB Cream is amazing!) so I didn’t get too much results when I was looking for some reviews about their lip tints. So let’s see if the Pop Tastic Jelly Tint can beat my other favorite lip tints.
