[REVIEW] New 2017 Etude House Cherry Sweet Color Lip Balm RD301

Etude House Cherry Sweet Color Lip Balm RD301 Review

Etude House Cherry Sweet Color Lip Balm RD301 Review:

I bought this lip balm for two reasons. First, I need more lip balm after suffering from lips irritation. The second one, I was tempted to try it out due to Etude House’s swatches on their Instagram. The colors look very pretty and vivid. I think it’s so fun to have a lip balm with great and opaque pigmentation like a lip color, right?

So, I bought this Etude House Cherry Sweet Color Lip Balm in shade RD301. There is another product that was released with this color lip balm at the same time, the lip gloss. But I grabbed the lip balm only (maybe next time for the lip gloss). I really expected a lot from this lip balm (for not only moisturizing but also giving a vivid color to my lips) because of everything it claimed. And the fact is… Well, let’s jump to the review to know how it works, keep scrolling down!

[REVIEW] The SAEM Eco Earth Power Pink Sun Cream SPF50 PA++++

The Saem Eco Earth Power Pink Sun Cream SPF50 PA++++ Review

The Saem Eco Earth Power Pink Sun Cream SPF50 PA++++ Review:

While I don’t have sensitive skin (well not majorly so) I still prefer to find a sunscreen that is mild and soothing and suitable for sensitive skin because my eyes tend to be very sensitive and very easily irritated. This means I generally go for sunscreens with physical filters because I can apply them close to my eyes without irritating them (or having them run into my eyes later in the day). It’s honestly quite hard to find a sunscreen without chemical filters that is SPF50, which is why when I saw The Saem was releasing one that was SPF50 and only contained physical filters I had to try it.

I’ve also read that people who have rosacea should use physical filters, which is also why I prefer to find a sunscreen with them. My rosacea is quite mild, but I think it is important not to aggravate my skin, and so this sunscreen looked quite promising. I also liked the simple design of the tube, and the fact that the sunscreen is meant to be soothing and calming.

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Bubble Bubble Deep Foaming Cleanser

The Face Shop Bubble Bubble Deep Foaming Cleanser Review

The Face Shop Bubble Bubble Deep Foaming Cleanser Review:

When I was a kid, I used to watch my mother washed her face in the morning with the brewed black tea. She said it’s good for the skin and I believe that. Though I don’t do the same habit of washing face with the actual tea now, I almost always use tea-containing facial foam, say: Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Foam or Missha Frui-Tea Cleansing Foam.

So, when The Face Shop released facial foam line with tea extract, I decided to give it a try. The Bubble Bubble Foaming Cleanser was a new product of The Face Shop (maybe around the mid-2017) and was on 50% sale as promotional price when I bought it. Price is 5000 KRW in Korean stores for 100mL tube. The Bubble Bubble line comes with three different types for different purposes. Pink: the deep cleanser; Green: the mild cleanser gel; and Blue as the moisturizing cleanser. My skin has visible large pores around nose and easily stuck with the blackheads, so I chose the pink one, deep cleanser for my pores.

[REVIEW] Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream

Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream Review

Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream Review:

A lot of people see an eye cream as something that is unnecessary, and I used to think that way in the past as well. However, when I started to use a face cream that I couldn’t use around my eyes I realized that an eye cream was essential. Also the skin around the eyes is very delicate and thin, and so I started to think that applying a normal face cream might be too heavy or irritating to the eyes. Which is why I started to look into different eye creams and I found this Purebess eye cream.

I had never heard of the Purebess brand before and since it had some good reviews I decided that I needed to try a new brand and a new product. The fact that it contains galactomyces which is a ferment, also attracted me to this eye cream. Galactomyces is meant to be good for wrinkles and fine lines which makes it sound excellent for an eye cream!

[REVIEW] Kailijumei Bright Surplus Flower Jelly Lipstick

Kailijumei Bright Surplus Flower Jelly Lipstick Review

Kailijumei Bright Surplus Flower Jelly Lipstick Review:

I do not normally wear makeup because I have such huge pores that I feel like any foundation I apply will clog them up and in the long run, this cannot be good for my skin. So, the only two makeup items that I allow myself are lipsticks and blushers. My Achilles heel has to be lipsticks and lipbalms. I gift them to myself on all special occasions: new job present, Monday present, birthday present, Tuesday present, break-up-with boyfriend present, Wednesday present, Xmas present, Thursday present…you get the idea. Its like an incurable disease I have – this urge to purchase lipsticks.

One morning, I was reading a magazine article on lipsticks and it mentioned this brand called Kailijumei. It said that this pH-adjusting lipstick made by a Chinese company that had dried flowers and gold flecks in it was apparently the hype among beauty bloggers. Flowers? Gold flecks? pH-adjusting? These were all unusual sounding references for a lipstick so I immediately bought one for myself to try.

Since I last bought this lipstick, Kailijumei have expanded into lip glosses. Their original website is rather simplistic with no information about the company. You just select the product you want and checkout. I guess there is nothing much to say when you’re essentially selling the same product with the only variation being the colour of the embedded dried flower. However, head on to their UK website if you want more detail.

[REVIEW] The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water

The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water Review

The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water Review:

When I ran out of my makeup remover, I was at loss on what to actually buy. There are a lot of cleansing creams and lotions, and even tissues, to choose from! What drew me to The SAEM’s Cleansing Water was the promise of removing even the most stubborn makeup and the claim that you can go straight to bed afterwards. I’ve never been loyal to a cleansing product ever, since I find that they all do their jobs equally well, but then this cleansing water might have changed my mind!

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Coconut Bio Skin Multi Patch

Nature Republic Coconut Bio Skin Multi Patch Review

Nature Republic Coconut Bio Skin Multi Patch Review:

I got this product in one of those “let me get free shipping” situations, so I didn’t expect anything of it, I chose it for its price. Since I like Nature Republic’s mask sheets I thought “Hey, this spot treatment must be quite decent for the price” as are all of their masks that I’ve tried. From disappointment to disappointment I’ll tell you my journey with these babies.
