[REVIEW] The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water

The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water Review

The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water Review:

When I ran out of my makeup remover, I was at loss on what to actually buy. There are a lot of cleansing creams and lotions, and even tissues, to choose from! What drew me to The SAEM’s Cleansing Water was the promise of removing even the most stubborn makeup and the claim that you can go straight to bed afterwards. I’ve never been loyal to a cleansing product ever, since I find that they all do their jobs equally well, but then this cleansing water might have changed my mind!

[REVIEW] Skinfood White Dandelion Derma Care Lotion Mask

Skinfood White Dandelion Derma Care Lotion Mask Review

Skinfood White Dandelion Derma Care Lotion Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

It took me almost two weeks to find this product because ordering it online alone would be a waste of shipping cost, and in stores it was either sold out or selling in packs of 10. Finally I found it and admired all its greatness! Dandelion is one of the prettiest flowers, and for those of you who are Disney fans: I always feel like Belle for a brief moment when I see these flowers.

I have no idea how dandelion is good for our skin and I didn’t even know there are non-white dandelions, so I guess there is already a lot of things I’m learning thanks to this mask. There are non-white dandelions in Korean language, they are a type of chrysanthemum – I guess that explains the white dandelion mystery.

[REVIEW] New 2017 Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence

New 2017 Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence Review

Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence was purchased by Cosmeperks.

This is another mouthful-name product that I am going to review. The name is basically a combination of its three key ingredients – Propolis, Royal Jelly and Honey.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX

Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX Review

Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX Review:

I have always been in love with Innisfree. My first foray into the world of Korean skincare products started with Innisfree mainly because I was intrigued with the ingredients they incorporated into their skincare: orchid, green tea, volcanic clusters, seawater, soybean, rice, broccoli, olives…you get the idea. Prior to this, I was a Dermalogica super fan and so a skincare range using natural and everyday “in-my-larder” ingredients was very alien to me.

As Innisfree is definitely cheaper than Dermalogica, I decided to give my wallet a break and opted for this (at that time) very strange concept of “essence” which apparently I was supposed to incorporate into a recommended gazillion step skincare routine.

[REVIEW] A by BOM Supersense A All in One Mask Pack

A by BOM Supersense A All in One Mask Pack Review

A by BOM Supersense A All in One Mask Pack Review:

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe A. by BOM is a relatively new cosmetic brand; apparently, it is a beauty salon located in South Korea who styles Sandara Park, Boa and many other Korean star. Despite its being a new comer, it sure is taking all over social media. A. by BOM is one of those brands who are all over Instagram, or at least, the people that I follow. This brand’s commitment is to use only natural ingredients like grains, vegetable oil and flowers. As much as I am curious about their products, they are a little hard to source out so I was very happy when a friend gifted me the A. by BOM Supersense A. All in One Mask Pack!

[REVIEW] Dr.Wu Renewal Serum With Mandelic Acid 18%

Dr.Wu Renewal Serum With Mandelic Acid 18% Review

Dr.Wu Renewal Serum With Mandelic Acid 18% Review:

About a month before purchasing this serum, my friend and I were discussing how our complexion had greatly improved with the incorporation of acids into our daily skincare routine. She then mentioned how she briefly came across the term ‘mandelic acid’ but did not bother doing much research into it.

Being a naturally nosy person, I thought I should maybe educate myself on this new acid lest I miss out on a star ingredient that could give me flawless skin….wishful thinking but hey, what is life without hope amirite?

[REVIEW] The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner Review

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner Review:

Even though I hadn’t read many good reviews about the Saem, I was still curious to try some of their products and so when I needed a new toner I decided to try this one out. My reasons for picking this toner aren’t that great – I wanted to try it because of “harakeke” which is a unique flax from New Zealand. It was the first time I’d seen a product with this particular plant, that and the green bottle looked so fresh, simple and well just appealing to me.

I’ll admit it’s not the best reason to try something out, but I suppose thinking the product looks good or has unique ingredients often attracts people to them, right? Or maybe it’s just me who falls for things like that?

[REVIEW] LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream

LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream Review

LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream Review:

I tried this product once for free and then I liked the product so much that I went on and bought it myself. At the time I used it a bit on-and-off since I wanted to try several stuff. Then when I bought it I tried it until I finished the whole pack, and I think I might want it again? What sorcery is this?? I have to say right of the hook that it’s not a cheap product for its size, but I also have to say it’s everything I expected of the Skinfood Fresh Apple cream, and more!

It’s a brand that specializes in sensitive skin, and this is part of a collection that specializes in acne skin. This collection has natural botanical extracts and focuses on red spots – the bar was set really high.

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres

The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres Review

The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres Review:

When talking about anti-aging skincare ingredients, vitamin C is definitely one of the most popular and effective ingredients that we can incorporate in our routine. It is packed with antioxidant, helps with skin ageing, aids in lightening pigmentations as well as overall brightening of the skin complexion.

My first ever vitamin C product was the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop. The reason I chose this product is because I wanted a gentle vitamin C formula to introduce to my skin. After 6 months of using it, I felt like I was ready to move on to a stronger and more potent formula to tackle some pigmentation. And after reading lots of reviews, I decided to choose The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension for its stable formula and the unbeatable price point.

But a lot of people complained aboout the product’s texture and strong stinging sensation they get from this. Some even reacted badly towards this! So lets see if my experience and opinion as others are the same or not.
