[REVIEW] Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream

Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream Review

Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream Review:

I first heard of Purito on an online forum, and at first the cute name sparked my interest but I didn’t think too much more about the brand. It was only when I was on the hunt for a new eye cream that I came across Purito again. It’s my habit to look up a bunch of products and then look at the ingredients and to see if there are any reviews about them too. I noticed that all the reviews I found raved about this eye cream and most people seemed to find it worked really well for them.

Naturally I wanted to try it as well, but it was only when I realized it had peptides and 49% centella asiatica that I finally decided to order it. It seemed to work well for other people at moisturizing their undereye area and I hoped it would work well for me too. Often, I find my sunscreen dries out the undereye area and causes fine lines (they only appear with some sunscreens) so I really want to find an eye cream that can combat this problem. Of course, it’s not something that can be resolved so quickly, but now that I’ve almost finished the tube I should be able to see some kind of result, right?

[REVIEW] Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review:

When I think of Glossier, I think natural, effortless, and enhance-yourself beauty. It’s definitely an extremely popular brand, with a select range of skincare and makeup. They don’t have too many options – for example, Lidstar is their only proper eyeshadow-type product, but the products that they do release are very well-thought out and well-loved.

I really enjoy using their Boy Brow eyebrow gel, and so was excited to try out Lidstar, which is a long-wearing eyeglow is supposed to be enhancing, long-lasting, and easy to wear. I have pretty oily eyelids, so I am always a little wary of any eyeshadow that is not in powder form. How does it hold up?

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Missha Glow Lip Blush Just Me

Missha Glow Lip Blush Just Me

Missha Glow Lip Blush Just Me Review:

Impressed with how the Glow Skin Balm worked on my oily skin, I finally purchased other product from the Glow collection from Missha. This time I got the Glow Lip Blush which they advertised as a ‘2 in 1’ product that can be used as a lip color and as a blush. I’m not the type that use lip product for my blush so I didn’t give too much thought about how it will perform on me, I only curious if it will perform well on the lips.

Missha describe it as a ‘glowing’ lip color with a good pigmentation and moisturizing yet doesn’t feel sticky at the same time. Usually I don’t like glossy lip product that much because I hate the stickiness but because Missha said it’s not sticky (along with great pay-off), of course I have to try it myself.

They have 8 shades to choose from and honestly I love all of the shades. The shades range are mainly n*des and pinks so it’s really perfect for my go-to lips for working or any other daily activities. I had a hard time in choosing only 1 shade but I finally decided to get #Just Me since it was advertised as one of their ‘main’ shade.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++

Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++ Review

Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++  was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I was very excited to first hear of a sun cream specific for winter, and even more so when I saw it had a super high SPF. Everyone, and that includes “skin care gods” like Koreans, thinks they are safe in the winter, that the sun will not get them. Here in Korea it’s especially difficult to recognize the difference between a cloudy day or a polluted day – unless you are sensitive, asthmatic, or have an app that gives you air notifications.

So whereas I accept that in cloudy days people may be deceived into thinking the sun “is okay”, here we have more polluted days than cloudy ones. And in the dry winter how can I use the anti-sebum sun creams I use in the summer?

So with a sun cream for this especially difficult season, of course it spiked my interest. Weirdly enough it isn’t as popular here as I thought it would be!

[REVIEW] Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream

Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream Review

Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Lately Cosrx seems to be on fire and releasing a lot of new products! Which honestly is quite exciting, because well I’ve always been a fan of their products. So, when Nigama asked me if I wanted to try this new product of theirs, I was instantly curious. Why was I instantly curious, you might wonder, well because of the name! Is it a toner or a cream? A mix of the two? Something like an emulsion? Well, these kinds of questions were going through my head, and honestly, I do like to try new products, especially those that I am curious about.

First of all, I wanted to find out what kind of product it was. The name is confusing to me, and well I wasn’t sure if I was getting a toner, emulsion or a cream. Apparently, this can be used as either a toner or a cream, depending on your skin type. To me that sounds bizarre, I mean how can a product really be either a cream or a toner? But I guess what Cosrx means is that if you have dry or dehydrated skin, you can use this product as a toner. But those with combination or oily skin can use it as a cream. Honestly though, I still must admit I am sceptical about how a product can be either a toner or a cream.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Skin

Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Skin Review

Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Skin Review:

As far as I know, the Jeju Lava Seawater line makes up a portion of Innisfree’s skincare range targeted towards anti-aging and intensive moisture. Clearly, being in my early twenties and having more of a combination-to-oily skin type, I’m not necessarily their target market.

However, when we were having a meet up and my friend was gushing about the Jeju Lava Seawater Deep Essence, I found myself really intrigued. And so, with having some generous friends within the skincare community, at one point, I ended up with a trial set of the Jeju Lava Seawater line. The rest, I guess you could say, is history… or is it?

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2 B5 Review

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Review:

Who has never heard The Ordinary brand before? Well, I’m sure everybody ever heard at least once. The Ordinary is such a hype; there’re many reasons for it, though. Maybe because of its economical price, or its specific claim for only particular problem of your skin, or because of its after-usage effect. That’s why I decided to give it a try.

[REVIEW] Missha Glow Skin Balm

Missha Glow Skin Balm Review

Missha Glow Skin Balm was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Not too long ago, Missha has launched a new collection called ‘Glow Skin’ and the collection consists of a foundation, a skin balm, a lip & cheek tint, and a tension pact. If I’m not mistaken, the collection’s purpose is for dry skin because fall and winter is coming and that’s when our skin become drier and drier (but sadly I live in a tropical country so we have no season here).

I really want to try the foundation but a lot of reviews were saying that it was too oily if you have oily skin so I didn’t get it and purchased the lip & cheek tint instead. But suddenly Nigama offered me to try the Glow Skin Balm and I’m so thankful! Since its main purpose is for dry skin, I can’t wait to see what it will looks like on my oily skin.

I’m not sure either if it’s a skin primer or a moisturizer, but when I searched about it online, most of the online shops described it as a skin primer. Missha made it only in one type (where other brands usually make it in 3 variants according to skin’s problem) and I think this primer is meant only for making your skin look luminous and feel hydrated.
