[REVIEW] Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice Review

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice Review:

Powder blush, at least for me, can sometimes come off as fake-looking and patchy, especially during the dry winter seasons. Plus, it needs to be applied with a brush, which requires the extra time and effort. As someone who literally only has five minutes to get ready, every second counts.

Having heard that liquid blush could give you a natural flush, lit from within, that actually lasts all day, I was immediately curious as to whether these were true. When I scoured the Internet for affordable, skin-friendly liquid blushes, the first product that came up was Skinfood’s Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush, a watery blush enriched with various fruit extracts to create a natural rosy look. When I eagerly swatched all the shades at the closest Skinfood store, I immediately fell in love. Without further ado, here is my review!

[REVIEW] 2018 New Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising Review

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At first I wasn’t going to try this mask. Because, honestly, “half face masks” are silly to me, since my whole face needs attention. Still, the fact that I often mask in the shower made it very appealing for me to use a sheet mask in the shower! Hard to resist.

I tried but in the end decided not to resist anymore. This mask comes in Moisturizing and Exfoliating variants, I chose the Moisturizing one because the other one needs to be washed off in the end (it is exfoliating supposedly) so I chose the one that is closer to the traditional mask sheet.

[REVIEW] Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+/PA+++

Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+PA+++ Review

Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+/PA+++ Review:

To be honest, I’ve always been quite intrigued with Yadah’s skincare line. It’s not the most raved about brand, I think, but it does pride itself on being “natural” and sensitive skin-friendly, so that certainly got my attention. However, since I try not to spend impulsively in general (although I do have strong urges… don’t we all?) I couldn’t really find a reason to purchase anything from the brand because I had other products to use up first. So when I received this in a gift exchange among friends last year, I was very excited.

[REVIEW] Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm

Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm Review

Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm Review:

The eye area is so delicate and for a long time I went without an eye cream, and maybe because of that my undereye area is so dry. I keep looking for new eye creams because they always seem to irritate my eyes or aren’t moisturizing enough. I had noticed this Etude House one a while ago, but it took me a while to decide to try it out. Even though I’m not a fan of red, something about “red energy” just appealed to me, so I decided to give it a go.

I was hopeful that for once I might have found a great eye cream, after all this one contains niacinamide (good for brightening skin), lots of fruit extracts and shea butter. I hoped that it would have enough occlusive ingredients to stop the skin around my eyes from drying out. This eye cream is meant to be good for wrinkles too, and my undereye area has a few fine lines because I’m guilty of rubbing my eyes (or I used to a lot). Shall we see if this eye cream worked better than the previous ones I’ve tried?

[REVIEW] New Innisfree Pocket Shake Modeling Mask Vitalizing + Cooling Rose

Innisfree Pocket Shake Modeling Mask Vitalizing + Cooling Rose Review

Innisfree Pocket Shake Modeling Mask Vitalizing + Cooling Rose was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I was soooo excited when they first released this a few days ago! I don’t have a big experience with modeling masks because they tend to be pricey, but I do enjoy applying them. So far, I enjoy applying them even when the results are disappointing, so whereas they are expensive it’s this small pleasure I always enjoy. Besides, I love Innisfree!

[REVIEW] New 2018 OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++

OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA Review

OMI Menturm Japan Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++ was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When it comes to sunscreens, I admit that I’m quite partial to Japanese formulations. Due to their high SPF/PA ratings to block out harmful UV rays, cosmetic elegance, double function as makeup primers and availability in local stores, it’s no wonder that I always end up picking out one or two to try when I’m low on sun protection.

Hence, when I was approached by Cosmeperks to try out a recently launched sunscreen from Menturm, I was intrigued right off the bat and agreed almost instantaneously. Putting honesty at the forefront of all my reviews, did this sunscreen manage to flirt its way into my “forever repurchase” list?

[REVIEW] Scinic The Simple Calming Toner pH 5.5

Scinic The Simple Calming Toner Review

Scinic The Simple Calming Toner pH 5.5 was purchased by Cosmeperks.

This is a new product from a brand that honestly receives less love than it should. And after using it I can tell you this toner also receives an underwhelming amount of love, it definitely deserves more!

Scinic isn’t a brand that gets enough recognition, but I hope you will read this and maybe give the brand a shot. It truly is a simple toner and I am more surprised with this toner than I have been with others.

[REVIEW] New Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask | Soothing & Defense

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask Review

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Etude House recently added few more masks to their signature mask collection. It took me a good 20 minutes in the store to choose which one I wanted, and since I couldn’t decide I ended up choosing the one most people would probably be more curious about – Madecassoside. Now, I have tried my share of madecassoside or soothing and repairing masks for sensitive skin, so I have a high standard. And very high hopes actually! The other newly released variants are Cherry Blossom, White Flower, and Artemisia.

[REVIEW] SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream

SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream Review

SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream Review:

For those with poor moisture barrier and skin sensitivity issues, ingredients such as ceramide and madecassoside/centella asiatica would surely be familiar faces at this point. Boasting skin repairing and anti-inflammatory properties, these ingredients are almost always the talk of the town when someone complains of dehydrated and/or irritated skin.

Hence, when a couple of my friends were talking about this cream after their trips to Seoul (at the time, SkinRX Lab products were pretty scarce and less accessible online if I’m not mistaken), I definitely became curious and almost cried in gratefulness when one of them decided to gift me a tube of it earlier in the year for my birthday (I may be a bit over-dramatic). So, did this product end up being a savior for my fickle, problematic skin?
