Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil Review

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil Review:

Curious about other cleansing oils, when a friend brought this up last year, I was surprised, considering Simple isn’t an Asian brand. But looking at the relatively clean and minimal ingredients list, it left me very intrigued. So when I caught it on sale at a local pharmacy/drugstore, I gave in almost immediately. Read on to see how a British cleansing oil fares in terms of makeup removal!

[REVIEW] La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare Review

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare Review:

La Roche-Posay is a famous drugstore brand from France. Their products are claimed by dermatologists and are tested on sensitive skins. And that’s the reason why I gave this one a try.

There was one time that I got a horrible breakout because of cosmetic allergy (poor me) and I decided to go to a dermatologist. She gave me an antibiotic liquid and warned that it would dry my skin. And you know, my skin was really really sensitive at that time, so she recommended me to use the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare to gently moisturize my skin. The name of this products may seem really weird to be honest however it does describe itself pretty exactly. We will get to that!

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Review:

La Roche – Posay is a very well-known brand among those with acne-prone or sensitive skin and I have always wanted to try its products. The Cicaplast Baume B5 is the first product I purchased from La Roche – Posay as I was in search for a new moisturizer.

[REVIEW] Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review:

I won’t lie to you, the first thing that attracted me to this serum was the packaging. With all its gold and black, it drew my attention the second I stepped into the store. Did I mention the bottle looks like real 24k gold? Because it does!

Diego dalla Palma is a well-known Italian brand that focuses on “giving customers the best results without using harmful ingredients”. I won’t deny that I was afraid of buying a mix of facial oils because of my acne prone skin. But the saleswoman used my soft spot for eco-friendly products against me and I ended up buying it. In fact what made me buy this product was its (almost) completely chemical-free list of ingredients. And my occasional acne is not worse than usual, so yay!

[REVIEW] Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream

Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream Review

Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream Review:

Wild rose is actually a trademark ingredient for Korres as it is the main ingredient in the first cosmetic formula of the brand. This cream is actually Korres’ first ever product and it is also the first ever natural 24 hour hydrating cream. And on top of all that, it is completely vegan which really makes me happy. This is a product I’ve seen maaany times growing up and it was pretty much impossible to avoid trying it sooner or later so here’s how it works on my skin!

[REVIEW] Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask

Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask Review

Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask Review:

Probably the smallest non-single usage mask I’ve ever seen and used, this is just one of the many, many flavors Korres came up with. It basically was their own attempt to jump on the charcoal mask trend but in their own way. This one is meant for deep cleansing which at first doesn’t sound as attractive or special as firming or brightening sounds like but let me say one thing.

Everything depends on cleansing correctly. Sure, double cleansing does a great job but once in a while it’s important to clear your skin from all the unwanted, persistent stuff. By doing that, you’re supposed to reduce sebum production which in excess, can cause acne and all of its children to appear. If you can prevent that, you can also get a smoother skin texture. On top of that, it’s all natural, it’s just cleansing.

[REVIEW] Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk Review

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk Review:

First of all, let’s start with an introduction. Korres is a Greek company that focuses on natural ingredients (just like all Greek beauty brands), and recently became popular internationally, with many major magazines like vogue, recommending their products.

My first ever skincare products were all Korres and I am still using a lot of their products, since they’re very easy to find, effective and also incredibly gentle to the skin. I bought this particular body milk because ever since I was a kid, I’ve had very dry knees and elbows. It is supposed to be ultra-moisturizing after all and when I tried it in a Korres shop, my skin was instantly different.

[REVIEW] Pixi Peel & Polish

Pixi Peel & Polish Review

Pixi Peel & Polish Review:

After dipping my toe into the world of Pixi Beauty, starting with the cult favourite Pixi Glow Tonic, I became very much interested in trying out more of their products. And the next product that caught my eye was the Pixi Peel & Polish.

Pixi Peel & Polish is a resurfacing concentrate mask, which contains 6% lactic acid, papaya fruit extract and sugar cane extract. It also has tiny granules in it that can act as a gentle physical exfoliator. I’ve stopped using physical exfoliants for a long time, but I was very much interested to incorporate lactic acid into my skincare routine (I have tried glycolic and mandelic acid previously), and this product seems gentle and intriguing enough for me to not to give it a try.

So, do I end up loving this Pixi Peel & Polish, or otherwise? Lets find out.
