[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Missha Color Filter Shadow Palette 06 Cony

Missha Color Filter Shadow Palette 06 Cony Review

Missha Color Filter Shadow Palette 06 Cony Review:

I fell in love with the colors presented on the website (at the time the Missha near me didn’t allow swatches so I could only trust the internet) and I knew I wanted this palette. I was divided between Cony and Brown since last time Missha had a Line friends collaboration I regretted not buying the Brown palette – and still regretted to this day. Because Brown reminds me of someone, completely unrelated to the product itself. This time I chose Cony (later I got Brown too) all because of the colors! Isn’t it adorable?

Not to mention the sustainable plastic-free packaging of the palette. That is a win in any book.

[REVIEW] Etude House Happy With Piglet Look At My Eyes PK018 I Like You Jewel

Etude House Happy With Piglet Look At My Eyes PK018 I Like You (Jewel) Review

Etude House Happy With Piglet Look At My Eyes PK018 I Like You (Jewel) Review:

For this collection they made a bunch of individual shadows that include from glitter to matte, from pink to brown, meaning they made them in the most common Korean preferences. But for once that is actually good, since we all get this for the package amirite? I asked them to give one to me at random and this one is the one I got. Surprisingly it’s not the most popular shade!

The names of all product shades are adorable. Other than this “I like you” you can also find adorable stuff like “don’t be sad”, “cheer up”, “a spoonful of honey”, and all types of emotions like “gloomy piggy” and “shy piggy”.

[REVIEW] Colorgram Milk Velvet Shadow 01 Milk Tea Latte

Colorgram Milk Velvet Shadow 01 Milk Tea Latte Review

Colorgram Milk Velvet Shadow 01 Milk Tea Latte Review:

If you ever read my review about A’Pieu Eye mousse, then you must’ve known that I love that product so much. I’m planning to get all shades to try but then I stumbled upon this product when I was searching for a matte liquid shadows. If you haven’t heard about Colorgram, it’s a Korean brand and if I’m not mistaken, you can get it from Olive Young, a well-known place where you can find unique and rare brands (it’s like a drugstore).

I heard about Colorgram but it’s only about their lip tint. There’s almost no review about their liquid shadow but I decide to try it because the shade range is really my style. It consists of 6 shades – 2 mattes, 2 pearly mattes, and 2 shimmers. I’m not too interested to their shimmer shades but the mattes one are really pretty! All of the matte is in neutral tone so it’s wearable for everyday and will suit every skin tone as well. Because of how much I love the shade, I had a hard time in choosing only one.

Lately matte liquid shadow starts to get recognition in Korea, even brand like Etude House starts making it as well so I’m really excited to try it all. I have oily eyelids so with a matte liquid shadow I can achieve a perfect matte look in just a minute. If you have oily lids like I do, I highly suggest you to try matte liquid shadow!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Play Color Eyes Lavender Land

Etude House Play Color Eyes Lavender Land Review

Etude House Play Color Eyes Lavender Land Review:

This is the new Etude House palette from their most famous palette collection. Last year they released the Cherry Blossom palette around the same time, and it’s still super popular (as it should). They also had ones that were less popular (mainly due to Korean taste) such as the Ice Van and Beach Party (they had oranges, greens, browns, I guess it was just not their style). They also had semi-popular ones like Peach Farm, Juice Bar and Wine Party – they are good and a part of everyone’s staples… and maybe that was their problem: the brand’s classic palettes with browns have at least one shade tending to those.

But lavender! Oh sweet lavender. It’s almost pink, so Koreans like it. It’s unique. You can pair it with burgundy-ish (included in the palette), with browns (also in), with purples (also). And they managed to make it tending to both warm and cool tones, and that tone thing is very trendy in Korea right now. Let me say, I just wish it came with a lavender candle as a gift!

[REVIEW] Missha Pig Dream Minimore Palette 02 Brown Rosy Dream

Missha Pig Dream Minimore Palette 02 Brown Rosy Dream Review

Missha Pig Dream Minimore Palette 02 Brown Rosy Dream Review:

This product was released in an online exclusive collection and let me tell you how sad that is! It is cute, completely appropriate for this year, Missha level quality (that means good quality), and cheaper than most Missha products!

Not to mention it’s one of the few yearly cute collections they release (unlike Etude which almost only has cute collections). I’m pretty sure this specific product would have sold out more than once if sold offline.

But gladly most of us are online shoppers anyway!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] The Face Shop CHOCO Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette 02 Cookie and Cream Chocolate

The Face Shop CHOCO Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette 02 Cookie and Cream Chocolate Review

The Face Shop CHOCO Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette 02 Cookie and Cream Chocolate Review:

I actually got “the other chocolate” palette first, but then I… regretted it, so since I had points I got this one too. Why did I regret it? Well I love glitter, and this one is 100% shiny! Some people say it’s 100% glitter but it’s really not, there’s other shines there which actually allow it to be much more diverse than you would originally think!

[REVIEW] WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Review

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review:

I have used Wakemake’s lip products before. In fact that’s what they are known for, and I highly recommend them if you’re into lippies! But their design in general is beautiful so it comes as no surprise that I felt attracted to their eyeshadow palettes.

When I first came to know these eyeshadows they only had “a matte one” and “a glitter one”, but now with two matte palettes I think everyone can find something they like! Honestly I went for this one because it’s the one “I knew” so it’s the one I wanted, but I’m considering getting number 3 on the next sale opportunity.

[REVIEW] Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review:

When I think of Glossier, I think natural, effortless, and enhance-yourself beauty. It’s definitely an extremely popular brand, with a select range of skincare and makeup. They don’t have too many options – for example, Lidstar is their only proper eyeshadow-type product, but the products that they do release are very well-thought out and well-loved.

I really enjoy using their Boy Brow eyebrow gel, and so was excited to try out Lidstar, which is a long-wearing eyeglow is supposed to be enhancing, long-lasting, and easy to wear. I have pretty oily eyelids, so I am always a little wary of any eyeshadow that is not in powder form. How does it hold up?

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion

Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion Review

Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion Review:

Although it’s still a new product I didn’t get it right after it came out. There’s two reasons for that. One is that usually Etude House eyeshadow palettes have a lower quality than their single shadows – and usually only one or two special colors. Another is that, of course, it was difficult to choose between the two palettes! Eventually I chose this one because the other one was too similar to… everything else I own.
