[REVIEW] Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask

Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask Review

Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask Review:

Polatam is a brand I’ve frequently seen around and heard about, but due to the price tag, have always been wondering about from afar. Claimed to be created by Park Tam Hee, an acclaimed Korean actress with a keen knowledge of beauty and skincare, the Polatam skincare range definitely caught my eye more due to its chic packaging more than anything.

Overall very clean and classy, with interesting notable ingredients thrown about, I was definitely excited when I was gifted a couple of masks from this range to try out. But the question remains: does the quality/experience reflect its price tag?

[REVIEW] Skin Watchers Galactomyces Whitening Essence

Skin Watchers Galactomyces Whitening Essence Review

Skin Watchers Galactomyces Whitening Essence Review:

Skin Watchers is a brand I remember seeing many people talking about however, after I started learning more about it, I feel like not many people know about it. I’ve wanted to try a product with galactomyces for so long so I just impulsively bought this because it said galactomyces and it was a good deal.

Oh little did I know.. This product actually has a pH of 4-5 (which sounds amazing to me since I have acne aka my skin’s pH is somewhere around 7.5 to 8 so it needs to get lower. Also, it contains A LOT of amazing ingredients and my beloved aronia which I have no idea what it can actually do BUT it tastes great in tea (I’m kidding it’s in the berries with the highest amount of antioxidants aka what makes the skin clear, but it does taste GREAT).

[REVIEW] New 2018 Innisfree My Real Pet Mask Pug Firming

Innisfree My Real Pet Mask Pug Firming Review

Innisfree My Real Pet Mask Pug Firming Review:

On my previous review, I have talked about Innisfree’s newest mask which is My Real Pet Mask in Chihuahua (Nourishing). And today I am back to share another review of My Real Pet Mask since I got a very nice result with the first one. My second mask from this collection goes to the firming type. Of course, still with our lovely dog characters, now is Pug’s turn!

See the wrinkles on Pug’s face? Even with that wrinkly face, the pug still looks very cute, doesn’t it? But imagine if we had the same wrinkly face! That’s a big NO! Even though I do not have too much wrinkles right now, but treat my skin with best wrinkle-improvement skincare is a must since I am already twenty-something. Just to make sure that I prepare my skin well before I age. And this mask promises to firm and restore elastic skin with its Adenosine content. I hope it would give what it promised since recently my skin looks tired and unhealthy. Hey, cute Pug! Let’s see what you can do for my skin!

[REVIEW] Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask

Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask Review

Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask Review:

This is the part where you expect me to write that only bought this because Song Joong Ki’s face is on the cover but NO! This is not the case. I actually bought this whole series because the ingredients seem fancy and promising. As the title states, this mask contains gold. Yes, gold! It has .025mgs of 24K gold and peptides.

That’s obviously a tiiiiiny amount that I believe is on the cover just to get the consumer excited but hey, that’s still fancy and you never know! I have to admit that I didn’t have a single idea what gold is supposed to do for the skin but after seeing it in many other products, I decided to give it a try. Even if the gold actually does nothing, this mask contains niancinamide, which works great on my hyperpigmentation.

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Buffet

The Ordinary Buffet Review

The Ordinary Buffet Review:

I chanced upon a Youtuber reviewing this skincare brand called The Ordinary. On further search online, it seemed that this Canadian brand has generated quite some buzz. Its low pricing for the products that are so raved and the targeted ingredients used in each of its products got me interested.

The Ordinary is from this company called DECIEM, and is also known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”. Abnormal? I am not sure what to make of this. Well, yes, for sure the prices for its products from The Ordinary are not that normal. I was hopeful that its products will work abnormally well on my skin, where many had failed.
After falling in love with the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc PCA 1%, I decided to try out its other products and had my eyes on The Buffet.

[REVIEW] Etude House Dr. Ampoule Dual Mask Sheet Age Care

Etude House Dr. Ampoule Dual Mask Sheet Age Care Review

Etude House Dr. Ampoule Dual Mask Sheet Age Care Review:

On my quest for propolis and honey based products I saw this mask. To be quite honest, I didn’t even check the ingredient list at the store and since it was on promotion I simply grabbed it and took it home! Of course, I checked the ingredients before using – and it doesn’t contain any of the honey goodness I wanted but it has snail secretion and ginseng extract.

Normally I wouldn’t use something with snail but I had already bought it so what the heck. It has two parts – a first step that’s an essence and a second step that’s the mask sheet itself. And it promises to take care of one of my biggest skin concerns: aging. So of course, I got it, when it was at a discounted price.

[REVIEW] SK-II R.N.A Power Radical New Age Cream

SK-II R.N.A Power Radical New Age Cream Review

SK-II R.N.A Power Radical New Age Cream Review:

As I have entered my thirties, I find that light moisturizers are no longer enough for me during the night. I live in a humid climate so I tend to shy away from heavier moisturizers. Some of the ones I tried felt too thick and suffocating, does not absorb properly into my skin making it feeling sticky, and some even clogged my pores.

So when I got the SK-II R.N.A Power Radical New Age Cream as a part of the SK-II Pitera™ Welcome Set, I was a bit hesitant to try it. Especially when it is an anti-aging cream, it obviously will be quite heavy. But the cream has received so many glowing reviews, of course I was curious to try it for myself and see how it fares.

[REVIEW] LG On: The Body x Kakao Friends Neo Collagen Sheet Mask

LG On The Body x Kakao Friends Neo Collagen Sheet Mask Review

LG On: The Body x Kakao Friends Neo Collagen Sheet Mask Review:

I actually got this mask as part of a monthly challenge on Instagram. Since I don’t have a big diversity when it comes to masks (because I always stick to the few I already know and like) I end up buying a few masks when I join a challenge. So anyway, I had to get a cat mask because of reasons and first I went to Holika Holika but they only sell offline at packs of 10 and I wasn’t going to do that for a mask I don’t know (I’m very committed to the ones I like), so I looked for another one. I ended up only finding this one! So I got it.

I wasn’t disappointed at my choice since I love Neo and it is pomegranate, which usually has a nice scent! So I took it and used it. I’m writing this review because I was really surprised at the result. You can see I didn’t even take the main photo before using the mask, I wasn’t going to write a review – it was that unexpected.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX

Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX Review

Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence EX Review:

I have always been in love with Innisfree. My first foray into the world of Korean skincare products started with Innisfree mainly because I was intrigued with the ingredients they incorporated into their skincare: orchid, green tea, volcanic clusters, seawater, soybean, rice, broccoli, olives…you get the idea. Prior to this, I was a Dermalogica super fan and so a skincare range using natural and everyday “in-my-larder” ingredients was very alien to me.

As Innisfree is definitely cheaper than Dermalogica, I decided to give my wallet a break and opted for this (at that time) very strange concept of “essence” which apparently I was supposed to incorporate into a recommended gazillion step skincare routine.
