[REVIEW] New 2018 Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

New 2018 Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner Review

Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks.

The new version of the famous Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Toner is finally here! And I am so excited to try it since I do know the popularity of the original version of this toner is no joking. Actually, I had a plan to try the original version few months ago but two friends said that the original version caused breakouts on their sensitive skin, and that’s because of the essential oils content in the ingredients list. Well, I guess some of us have a same unpleasant experience with the original version, and many people out there do.

Seemed like Dear, Klairs heard their fans shouted out about that issue and, finally, they recreated their famous toner to Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. Basically, this toner is same and as great as the original version, but it’s fragrance-free. It’s made without essential oils thus all of us with all skin types (even the sensitive one) can enjoy it without worry. It is Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Toner version 2, The Unscented!

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review:

I think I’ve just met the cutest collaboration from Holika Holika! Last month, the Korean beauty brand, Holika Holika, launched a collaboration with the cute and cheerful Japanese character, Peko Chan – a lip-licking girl with pigtails (a popular mascot from Fujiya Co). It’s Holika Holika X Peko collection!

As guessed, I was extremely excited when saw Holika Holika’s feeds on Instagram about this cute collection. They launched Sweet Milky Peko edition for their Hard Cover Cushion, Water Drop Tint Bomb, Eyeshadow Palette, No Sebum Pact, Melty Jelly Lipbalm, Blusher, and many more. They even have cute Milky Peko beauty tools like Bun Puff, Cushion Puff, Nail Fit Sticker and more. Everything is cute overload in this special collaboration. And, of course, they easily got my attention as I am a sucker for cute things.

The first product I tried from this collection was the jelly mask sheet. Aside from its cute packaging, I actually wanted to know about how this jelly mask sheet works. I think it’s my first time trying out a mask sheet with jelly essence type. So, let’s meet and play with the cute Peko, our forever-6-year-old friend!

[REVIEW] Heart Made Bless of Gaia Flax & Herb Nourishing Skincare Oil

Heart Made Bless of Gaia Flax & Herb Nourishing Skincare Oil Review

Heart Made Bless of Gaia Flax & Herb Nourishing Skincare Oil Review:

Recently I’ve been quite interested in facial oils and so I’ve been on the hunt to find some different oils that would help my dry skin out. When I finished the oil that I was using at night, I was looking for a replacement when I stumbled across a local website selling this Heart Made facial oil. It was made by a company I’d never heard of before so I was curious about it. Because it was a brand I had never heard of before I did try to find some reviews (and failed) and also looked into the company to decide whether to buy it or not.

According to Heart Made’s website, their products are vegan and they focus on using natural ingredients with plant extracts and oils. Their products also seem to have very few ingredients in them. When I read the description on their website about the oil it sounded as though it was good for rosacea (which I have mildly), and minimising skin irritation too. In the end I decided to just try it out, after all what was the worst that could happen?

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%

The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Review

The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Review:

I have had successes with a few of The Ordinary Products and naturally I kept going back to the product range to see which others may suit me. I have also read a lot about Vitamin C and its benefits when applied on skin, besides taking as an oral supplement.

The Ordinary has quite a number of Vitamin C products and I was confused to which to try. I finally settled for The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% because it comes in a serum form and I do like the dropper system.

[REVIEW] Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion

Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion Review

Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion Review:

I’ve been flirting with this essence since January 2014 when it was first released, however for this product to reach the shelves of EU it took a while, as essences are usually promoted and developed mostly for the Asian markets. I finally managed to get a bottle on March 2018 from Notino for 60.90 euro and I’ve been using it twice a day since.

[REVIEW] Isntree Clear Skin BHA Toner

Isntree Clear Skin Bha Toner Review

Isntree Clear Skin BHA Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks.

As soon as I read the name of this product… I wanted to buy it. I love bha and more specifically… I love salicylic acid, guess what this toner contains… nope, sadly it’s not salcylic acid however, it’s something very similar! It contains betaine Salicylate which is used as an alternative to salicylic acid!

Almost everything I’ve bought so far with salicylic acid was amazing so the chances I like this product are high. In case you’re not familiar with it, it is a gentle exfoliant that works well against certain types of acne (not mine but it seems to work nicely on my skin so I don’t really know what to believe).

[REVIEW] It’s Skin Power 10 Formula LI Effector with Licorice

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula LI Effector Review

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula LI Effector Review:

Once I heard about these essences I was curious about them, especially since there are so many varieties and different types. I spent a lot of time researching different ones deciding which one to try. Of course, in the end I decided to pick the LI effector – which contains liquorice. Why liquorice? Well because it’s meant to be good at reducing redness which sounds perfect to me. After all I’m sick of looking like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer or like a tomato all year round.

The LI effector also had the best reviews, it seemed like it helped a lot of people’s redness. So, I was hopeful that maybe it would work for me. Despite the triethanolamine, I thought it also has a pretty good ingredient list with a good percentage of liquorice too.

[REVIEW] MizuMi Extra Mild Facial Cleanser

MizuMi Extra Mild Facial Cleanser Review

MizuMi Extra Mild Facial Cleanser Review:

While on a trip to Bangkok, I remember just walking through aisles of cosmetics at the drugstore and finding brands I’ve never heard of before, which, as you might’ve guessed, included this brand. Being a natural sceptic, I took note of it but didn’t buy it immediately.

However, when I couldn’t find much reviews online in English (Google Translate can only help so much), I ended up going for it anyway (whatever I could read seemed promising) and purchasing a bottle right before I flew back home the next day. But how did it fare?

[REVIEW] Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside Review

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside Review:

The first time I laid eyes on this mask was when I first got into the madecassoside/centella asiatica hype and one of my friends included it in my gift exchange parcel back in April last year.

Safe to say, I liked it enough to order a few more when the official Innisfree website was having a sale, so it’s about time I wrote a proper review on it here to share my views as someone with reactive skin.
