Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Review

Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Review:

Hi, my name is Jui and I am addicted to lipstick… mattes, to be specific. I have been hooked for years now. I honestly think that matte is the best formula ever but my lips say otherwise. While color payoff is super gorge, they are really bad for my lips; I always end up with very chapped, cracked lips. Truth be told, I’ve been okay with this. Still cool even though sometimes my lips get tinge of blood and gets a bit painful whenever I put on a smile. Naturally, my issues didn’t stop me from hoarding more ultra-matte lipstick. I don’t know what happened but one day I just found myself on google looking for “long lasting lip tints”.

I’ve seen a lot of brands, alright. From Western to Asian brands. It was kind of easy for me to narrow my options since I’m more inclined to Asian Beauty. Now I was torn between these beautiful packaging; if you’re into Korean Beauty you would understand that sometimes, you really end up buying stuff just because they were housed in a cute packaging –and that’s exactly how this cutesy thing ended up in my grabby hands.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence Review

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence Review:

Korean beauty is pretty much flooded with snail containing products. Being the amateur kbeauty fan that I am then, I just grab whatever is main stream. Mass production means high demand, after all.

Now, I don’t know about you but I am honestly not grossed out by the thought of putting snail goo all over my face so when the snail train passed by, I jumped instantly. Luckily, my skin doesn’t have any negative reactions with snail products so I just grab them whenever one piques my curiosity. Naturally, my inquisitive eyes did not miss Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence.

Tonymoly Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ | Review

Tonymoly Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ Review

Tonymoly Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion Review:

I will be perfectly honest and admit that I bought Tonymoly Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion solely for the package, without even testing it. The reason for that is, if the foundation cream is not to my liking I will simply clean all of it and replace it with some other foundation cream I enjoy more.

So, I went on this journey without testing nor expectations. I love the package, to me that is enough reason to buy this, as the price is quite friendly! Regardless, with this Pokemon collection you can have everything: from basic skin care to a body lotion, and full face makeup! So, at least a part of it is worth taking a shot at, right?

Tonymoly Pikachu Moisture Mask Sheet | Honey | Review

Tonymoly Pikachu Moisture Mask Sheet Review

This mask was the first thing I wanted to try as soon as I saw the Pokemon collection in Tony Moly, but I didn’t buy it. Why didn’t I buy it? Because the Pikachu mask (not the other characters’) you can get as a present when you buy any of the other products! Tonymoly Pikachu Moisture Mask Sheet looks different from the one in the collection (this one is rectangular, the other one actually is Pikachu shaped) because they wanted to differentiate the ones you buy from the ones you receive as an extra(gift). This one, the squared one, is the one you receive as an extra. But I should let you know – both masks are the same, the same formula, smell, same everything except package!

So, as soon as I got it I tried it. And kept using it. And now I decided to write about it! I’m sure most of you like this mask, because Pikachu is so cute, even if you don’t care for Pokemon itself.

I’m From Honey Mask | Review

I’m From Honey Mask Review

I first discovered this I’m From Honey Mask after an epically lazy day that consisted of eating and binge watching YouTube beauty reviews. I came across Gothamista’s YouTube Channel and saw she had posted a video called “Honey Masks Smack Down. Farmacy Honey Potion and I’m From Honey Mask.”

Well, I gravitate towards honey in my skincare products like Winnie the Pooh. I also own and LOVE the Farmacy Honey Potion mask but my supply of it was dwindling so I was on the hunt for something more affordable but just as effective. “I’m From” is a Korean skincare brand that I was already familiar with because I am a slave to their honey sheet masks. According to Wishtrend’s website, the “I’m From Honey Mask” uses almost 40% pure honey from Mount Jiri in South Korea.

Nature Republic Aqua Max Watery Toner & Emulsion | Review

Nature Republic AQUA Max Watery Toner & Emulsion Review

Nature Republic AQUA Max Watery Toner & Emulsion Review:

As you can imagine just by reading my skin type, it is a very troublesome skin. I started having acne at age 9, then, while still having it, my skin became allergic, sensitive, mixed oily and dry, and all before I even had my period! As times passed and I started finding out what is good and bad on my skin and it became more controllable and now most people can’t even imagine any of those things by looking at my skin. Which is a good thing!

My first trick is to always, at any given time, have emergency lotion in the house. A lotion focused on hydrating, without making my skin oilier, something nice and calming, and with a nice smell. Something I can use on the worst skin days.
I have tried and been satisfied with two Korean products when it comes to that, and this one is the only I still use.

Now, let me tell you, Nature Republic is like Tony Moly – usually you love some stuff and hate others, but they are cheap so you can always give them a try.

I have heard bad reviews, or disappointed reviews regarding the cream on this Aqua max line(but also lots of good reviews). But never regarding the Nature Republic Aqua Max Watery Toner & Emulsion that we are seeing here today.

Laneige All day Anti-pollution Defensor SPF 30 PA++ | Review

Laneige All day Anti-pollution Defensor SPF 30 PA++ Review

First of all – this is a product that not even many Koreans know about! So, why did I buy an anti-pollution defensor? In Korea there is a lot of pollution. I don’t only mean the trash on the street, visual pollution, sound pollution, light pollution, AIR pollution as most big cities have. Those who live in south east Asia know for a fact the real enemy is the thin powder, the Chinese dust, yellow dust, red dust, it comes with a lot of names. Coming from a clean country with clean air, and living by the sea on which I dived several times and gave me a sodium cleansing, when I arrived to Korea right away I felt the damages of this pollution type. I got asthma, skin irritation and later skin allergies. When the fine dust is severe I don’t even need to check the reports, I can just look in the mirror and I will have a bunch of infected, swollen ‘pimples’ 3 times the size of a normal acne pimple, which hurt and are red as if I had just scratched them. And so there are two things one must do: proper cleansing and proper prevention. This is, by my experience, the best prevention one can take against pollution. And it really works even just as a pore protector, even when I went back home for the summer! So, with all these characteristics I just had to try this. Oh, did I mention it also has SPF 30 PA++? It’s not enough for the summer but during the winter it does the trick.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask & Clay Mousse Mask Original Review

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask & Clay Mousse Mask Original Review:

Back in Europe, even when my skincare routine was as basic as 3 steps – foam cleanser, water mist, and cream, every other day I did a clay mask. Literally, I had powdered purified clay to which I would add water and make a paste, and then apply it to my face. The reason is that clay cleans and gently removes the dead skin.

So, of course when it comes to Korean skin care I also find it important to have a good clay mask, right? There are several good ones out there, but to me the one that takes the prize is the Innisfree Jeju volcanic clay mask in original. The collection has several different types, this one, the super version – for a stronger effect, and a pack for localized treatment, and of course a cleanser, a toner, a lotion, the list goes on.
