[Review] Mamonde Rose Water Toner

Mamonde Rose Water Toner Review

Mamonde Rose Water Toner Review:

Continuing my search of hydrating toners by browsing various skincare blogs and forums, I stumbled upon this particular highly raved about toner. Claiming to be “3 Free” (later explained in the product claims section), and also free of my usual skincare triggers, I decided to give it a go. Fortunately, I managed to find a local reseller of the 150mL bottles before committing myself to the larger sizes (not to worry, though, as I’ve included an international link for the 150mL if anyone’s curious like I was!), and well, read on to find out whether or not this was a good decision!

[Review] Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review:

Since I claim to be on a skincare journey, I wanted it to be as happy as possible. What other way to make it fun besides to get adventurous and exhaust options right? After all, Korean Beauty has a very wide range and interesting ingredients. From the odd ones (pig collagen and snail goo) to hanbang (traditional medicine like ginseng) there’s just way too much variety it is impossible to run out of things to try on! One of the key ingredients that I have been interested on for a while is rice. “

Rice, what?!” I don’t know about you but I live on this side of the earth where rice is just something that you put in your mouth whenever you are hungry. Apparently, rice is not only good for your grumbling tummy but is also good for your unnourished skin. Since I have fallen in love with Skinfood Black Sugar Strawberry Wash-Off Mask, it wouldn’t make sense if I don’t buy the rice variant right?

[Review] Leaders Derma Soul Hydration Mask with Chamomile Water

Leaders Derma Soul Hydration Mask with Chamomile Water Review

Leaders Derma Soul Hydration Mask with Chamomile Water:

Leaders is known to be a hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested brand, and despite sounding a bit too clinical, this is my go-to rescue sheet masks when my skin is feeling stressed out, irritated and on the verge of some hormonal breakouts during that time of the month. Chamomile is known to be anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial that is full of antioxidants and essential oils to heal, repair and keep skin healthy. Let’s see how this mask fared for me.

[Review] Nature Republic Cactus 92% Soothing Gel

Nature Republic Cactus 92% Soothing Gel Review

Nature Republic Cactus 92% Soothing Gel Review:

As you might have noticed if you read my reviews, I am an Aloe Gel enthusiast. So when the ladies here at Cosmeperks told me a cactus gel could be more hydrating I jumped right on it! It is more expensive than aloe, but hydration is important for aging skin, and for combination or oily skin. And I have both of them.

Not to mention the novelty of having cactus on your skin, who doesn’t want to try that?

[Review] Etude House SoonJung 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm

Etude House SoonJung 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm Review

Etude House SoonJung 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I have been reviewing this SoonJung collection by Etude House with utmost attention. The collection is especially for sensitive skins, to balance any skin, and to protect them, to help your blemishes, and with the right combination of products it can also be used for dry skins. So, it’s basically a topic that touches us all.

The Cica balm would be, in my opinion, the thing to pay most attention to since most brands have been investing deeply in Cica care, so we have a lot to compare it to.

[Review] Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack | Pomegranate

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Pomegranate Review

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Pomegranate Review:

I’ve always been curious about sleeping packs but considering my skin type I just shrug off and look away. I would have to admit, however, that these Innisfree Capsule Recipe Packs are way too cute! Would you be surprised if I say that one day, I just gave in and found myself checking it out? Since it comes in a really small pack (and really cheap) I didn’t have to feel so bad if my skin doesn’t agree with it. I mean, at least I won’t be wasting so much product if I end up not liking it. Pomegranate variant seemed to be the most appealing out of the bunch so I chose to get it for myself.

[Review] Skinfood Jelly Peau Banana Wash Off Mask

Skinfood Jelly Peau Banana Wash Off Mask Review

Skinfood Jelly Peau Banana Wash Off Mask Review:

The thing that first attracted me to this product was the inspiration they got: a famous jelly gummy brand here in Korea. Just by looking at the shape, even without reading the name, I could see the gummies in it! Of course, banana being my favorite fruit I decided to try that one. I didn’t know what I was expecting, but when I read it was a wash off mask I was intrigued, interested, and skeptical. So, let’s try this product together, shall we?

[Review] Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser

Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser Review

Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser Review:

This product is fresh off the shelves! It literally came out 2 weeks ago, it was for pre-purchase for a while and I did do that, just so that I could be “the first” to try it. Grains are great for your skin because, just like nuts they give you healthy buttery oils and, well, butters.

[Review] Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Essence and Watery Cream

Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Essence and Watery Cream Review

Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Essence and Watery Cream Review:

Nature Republic is one of the first Korean Brands that I’ve delved into so I’ve always have a soft spot for it. Nature Republic to me, however, has been a hit-and-miss and sadly, I haven’t found something from them that has been exemplary to my skin.

Don’t get me wrong, most of their products deliver, I just feel that they lack in the oomph department. Nevertheless, I am open (will always be) to try Nature Republic products whenever I can so when I was gifted few products from the Ginseng Royal Silk line, I got really excited. I mean why not? You can consider this as luxury line given its price tag!
