[REVIEW+SWATCHES] 2019 NEW Peripera Mood Blank Collection Ink The Velvet 12 Point Red

Peripera Mood Blank Collection Ink The Velvet 12 Point Red Review

Peripera Mood Blank Collection Ink The Velvet 12 Point Red Review:

It’s not Peripera if they didn’t have a new collection every month. The new Mood Blank collection from Peripera finally arrived and in this collection they only have lip tints and a 4-pan eyeshadow palette. I don’t know why they decided to make only 2 products for this collection and in my opinion, I think it’s because they want to release something for the fall season (Peripera is famous for their fall collection).

The eyeshadow palette, even though it’s pretty, is not my type of product so I chose to try the tint instead. As usual, Peripera didn’t made a new tint and just threw some new shades to this collection using their infamous Ink the Velvet tint. I know Peripera launched tons of new product this year but I hope they will make something different like a gloss or lip pencil maybe?

I think the Mood Blank collection is just a ‘filler’ collection before they launch something bigger or more special because if you visit their website, the Ink the Velvet one only available in 3 new shades and for me, those 3 shades are very similar to the ones that exist in the older collection which is the new Ink the Velvet AD they launched early this year. I’m not that surprised to see the similarity between the shades though because I noticed that Peripera always did that with their new collection. Similar shades, similar packaging, and nothing new unless they release a totally different product.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige

Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige Review

Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige Review:

When I went to Seoul last 2017, I was not as hooked on K-beauty as I am right now. I wasn’t familiar with must-try products except for those offered by road shop brands available in the Philippines like Etude House, Tony Moly, etc. Needless to say, I was really fascinated to see women of different ages (from teens waiting in line for a ride in Everland, ladies on their commute to work, and even grandmothers on the train towards hiking destinations) applying cushion. This made me want to get my hands on this magical compact which seems to be the secret behind the coveted Korean porcelain skin.

The first ever cushion I bought was from Laneige but found it too heavy and dewy for my liking (not at all suitable for the hot and humid weather we have). I ended up just using that one a few times and giving away the refill it came with. This bad experience didn’t discourage me to avoid cushions all together though.

On the contrary, it actually made me want to try out more brands to look for my perfect match. It was last year when an online shopping site had their crazy sale on Moonshot products. All their cushions were sold for only $9.99 which I thought was such a bargain so I grabbed that opportunity to get myself one.

Reading the description of the different kinds of cushions available from the brand, I decided that this Micro Settingfit one is the most ideal for my oily skin since it claims to have a matte finish which my oily skin can benefit from. It didn’t have a refill (unlike their Balm type cushion) which was quite a bummer but I still decided to purchase this one.

By the way, Moonshot is a very new brand for me. The only information I know about it is that it has affiliations with the entertainment company YG. I’m not really a K-pop fan anymore but I believe Black Pink is their current endorser. Who wouldn’t want to achieve Lisa’s perfect skin right?

Anyway, I’ve been using this cushion for months now and I’d like to share my experience and opinions about it. If you’re curious to know if I’ve finally found my perfect cushion, please read until the end. For now, here are some details about the product:

[REVIEW] 2019 NEW COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner

COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner Review

COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When Nigama contacted me to do a sponsored review and offered COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner, I was very interested seeing this product’s advertisement. First, I had no experience trying COSRX products before (yes I know I was outdated for not joining the hype); and second, COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner hadn’t been sold in my country yet. Aaanndd, it has such fascinating ingredients list I expect quite a lot! After rambling around the product details on the internet (which was very very rare), I found out that COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner was a product of COSRX x SYDNEY collaboration. That SYDNEY name didn’t ring a bell to me, but it might sound familiar for some of you.

To be honest, my previous SOME BY MI Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Toner hadn’t ran out yet, but on the bright side, I could do the exact comparison between COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner and it. A little flashback, I had to remind how satisfied I was with the latter and I’m quite curious to see whether COSRX could beat the SOME BY MI result. So, in order to make it more evident, I decided to use them parallel to both sides of my face.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001

Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001 Review

Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001 was purchased by Cosmeperks.

If you have never heard about Stimmung before, you are not alone. I’m a huge fan of K-beauty but this is my first time hearing that there’s a K-beauty brand called Stimmung. I checked their website to find more information about them but it’s full of Korean word I can’t understand, so I tried searching on YouTube to see reviews about their products. Once again, I have no answer because almost all the reviews are either in Korean or Vietnamese.

Based on what I found, seems like Stimmung is an affordable beauty brands in Korea and while I’m not sure if they have a retail store, they have a website where you can purchase it directly. I don’t know if you can get from their website if you live outside Korea though but I was so lucky to be offered by Nigama to try it!

They have various products start from lips, eyes, cheeks, and even base makeup. The unique thing about them is how they package their product. All of the products are packaged in a pouch style packaging (like a jelly drink you can find on a convenience store) which is pretty new for a K-beauty brand.

[REVIEW] MIZON Collagen Firming Eye Cream

MIZON Collagen Firming Eye Cream Review

MIZON Collagen Firming Eye Cream Review:

While Korean skincare brands tend to innovate every now and then about their lines and star ingredients, I have to express my dissatisfaction toward their concern to their eye cream products. The varies are barely developed, or at least launched at the market. I always find this problem of buying a new eye cream (as well as sunscreen products) once the previous one ran out : rambling around veteran skincare brands like Mizon, Secret Key, Etude House, and so on, since the latest and current brands don’t exactly pay more attention to launch eye creams. This time, I chose Mizon since I’d tried Secret Key before, and maybe Etude House would take turn next!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] 2019 NEW Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red

Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red Review

Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I saw the new Powder Rouge Tint when I watched Pony’s (Korean beauty influencer) makeup tutorial. If I remember correctly, she used a red shade and she said that the tint is good in quality. After that, I checked Etude’s official website but it wasn’t sold yet at that moment so I think it would be an exclusive release where you can buy it on the store only and not online.

But suddenly Nigama offered me to try the tint! Actually me and Etude House lip tints have a hit and miss relationship, sometimes I really love their tint and on another day I dislike their other tints so I thought it would be fun to see if this time I will love their new release or not.

If you are a fan of red lips, I think this release will be your favorite one. The Powder Rouge Tint is available in 8 shades and all of them are reds with 4 cool undertones and the other 4 with neutral and warm undertone. The swatch itself scared me a bit because I’m not the type who will wear deep and bold shades but since Pony said it can be used thinly and the color looked gorgeous on her, I’m excited to try it.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter

BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter Review

BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter Review:

The Velvet Blurred Lips is one of the newest lip products from B by BANILA, which is a sub-brand from BANILA Co. I never heard anything about this product until I watched a review from a Korean beauty Youtuber. She said that this lip cream is comfortable on the lips and have so many shades to choose from. Me, as a lip product lover, of course have to try it! I have tried their lip tint before and I loved it so much so I’m curious and want to find out if this one will work as good or not.

For a product from BANILA Co, it’s actually not too pricey. I have seen more expensive items from other brands like Missha and CLIO so I’m quite happy to see they didn’t sell it with a shocking expensive price. You can find BANILA Co products in my country but this item isn’t sold yet so I have to get it online and finally bought it together with the Covericious foundation. There are tons of online stores who sell this lip cream so I’m sure you can find it easily.

[REVIEW] Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream

Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream Review

Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream Review:

Have you ever used a product for the first time and thought, “Yup, this is the one.”? As a beauty enthusiast, I always want to try new things so I don’t typically stick to using the same products over and over again (even if they worked well for my skin). And it doesn’t help that there is seemingly an infinite number of newer and better products to try out there.

But once in a while, you fall in love with a product so much that the fear of missing out on newer products suddenly disappears. That’s what I happened when I first used this Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate.

Why? I’ll tell you the reasons in a bit but for now let’s learn more about the brand and some details about the product.
I’ve been seeing products from Illiyoon every now and again but they didn’t really catch my attention enough to buy them. Perhaps that can be attributed to their boring packaging (there are just so many adorable or chic looking products out there!).

Anyway, it was when I saw Kelly Driscoll’s youtube videos where she discussed how much she loves this cream that I decided to try it out for myself. Fortunately, I saw a smaller size on sale in shopee. I got mine for only $2 for a 70ml tube which is such a steal!

According to what I’ve read, Illiyoon is a part of Amore Pacific which is one of the biggest beauty companies in Korea (also owns Mamonde, Laneige, Innisfree, etc). The brand aims to deliver gentle but deeply nourishing products perfect for those which sensitive skin types. In fact, their products can also be used for babies. Since I have a one year old baby, this is a plus point for me.

[REVIEW] Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner

Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner Review

Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner Review:

These days, Isntree has been booming in the Asian Beauty community with their simple no-frills skincare products. They first garnered popularity with their famous Hyaluronic acid toner which I also thoroughly enjoyed, resulting in me falling in love with the brand.

Isntree’s Green Tea Fresh Toner on the other hand, appealed to me due to it being a light watery toner which I find more ideal for daytime use for combo or oily-skinned folks, especially those living in countries with high humidity all year long.
