Swanicoco Skin Expert One Step Fermentation Snail Care Emulsion Review

Swanicoco Skin Expert One Step Fermentation Snail Care Emulsion Review:

Swanicoco’s Snail Fermentation line is much loved by the Asian Beauty community and I was lucky to grab a good deal of this emulsion along with its hydrating toner. This emulsion boasts of fermented goodness of rice, soybeans and many botanicals including licorice that brightens, snail filtrate that moisturizes and repairs and green tea extracts that protect the skin. These special ingredients can rejuvenate, nourish and brighten skin, that also provide moisture and a healthy glow. I was actually just looking for a lighter version of a snail cream that I use during night and I was pleasantly surprised with my Swanicoco discovery, which made this one of my praised skincare products.

[Review] Son and Park Beauty Water

Son and Park Beauty Water Review

Son and Park Beauty Water Review:

I am already an avid follower of the double cleansing method, but as I came across the possibility of beauty waters and a third cleanse I became intrigued by this next step. I knew that double cleansing with an oil based and a water-based cleanser greatly improved my skin texture and was excellent for removing a full face of makeup and impurities. However, the third cleanse with the Son and Park Beauty Water was meant for removing any remaining traces of make-up or debris. As I researched the Beauty Water more, I discovered that it was truly a multi-tasking product, which is always a bonus for me. Not only can it be used as a third cleanse toner at the end of the day, but it can also be used in the morning to prep the skin for makeup application, or anytime in the middle of the day to refresh the skin! Let’s see how this lovely multi-tasking toner fared for my skin.

Etude House SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser Review

Etude House SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser Review:

I have been on a small mission of evaluating the products of the Etude House Soon Jung collection. Since they are focused on sensitive skin treatment, healing, prevention, and all sorts of stuff, I can’t just change the products and decide on spot whether they work or not! So, although these reviews are taking longer than a normal product would, they are letting me know with all accuracy what works from this collection or not.

[Review] G9 Skin White in Milk Toner

G9 Skin White in Milk Toner Review

G9 Skin White in Milk Toner Review:

I was browsing for a new toner on an online shopping site which has a lot of upcoming and new Korean brands. I suffer from mild hyper-pigmentation and being dark skinned, my spots are quite “out-there’’ (I can be quite self-conscious). I was looking for toners that would whiten/lighten my scars and voila, I came across this “white in milk toner”. Basically anything that whitens my scars always catches my eye.

So, did a bit of digging up on G9 Skin brand, since I have never heard of it. It is a little sister of Berrisom, a well-known k-beauty brand. They market themselves as an anti-pollution skincare brands, sounds weird but I guess Korean marketing is different. Who doesn’t want to protect their skin from pollution?

[Review] Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack

Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack Review

Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack Review:

Apart from sheet masks, I collect a lot of sleeping packs and overnight masks since they provide intense nourishment and moisture, and of course, the idea of a sleeping pack working wonders for your skin while you sleep is such an endearing one. Waking up to more radiant skin is always a treat. However, I have never tried a black sleeping pack so I had my eyes on the Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack, solely because I love gel-type sleeping packs and overnight masks as they do not leave my skin sticky or tacky.

The Banila co. The Black 17 Sleeping Pack boasts a whopping 17 “Super Black Food Ingredients” such as cacao, black bean, acai berry, blackberry, black sesame to soothe and nourish dull and stressed out skin.

[Review] Make p:rem Peel Me Radiance Peeling Booster

Make p:rem Peel Me Radiance Peeling Booster Review

Make P:rem Peel Me Radiance Peeling Booster Review:

Exfoliation is one of important steps in skin care routine to make sure that all the dead skin cells will be eliminated and our skin will have a maximum absorption on all skincare that we put after. Having said that, I myself have been using both physical and chemical (AHA and BHA) exfoliators but it always resulted in over exfoliated skin on me. My skin will appear reddish with small bumps for days. So I have been searching ups and downs for exfoliator that works for my skin and found this product that used PHA (poly hydroxy acid) which is more gentle exfoliator suitable for sensitive skin that cannot tolerate with AHA. Nowadays, we can see lot of products in the market that came with this PHA formulation, thus I have been taking some time to choose and I did choose this Make P:rem Peel Me Radiance Peeling Booster.

[Review] The Face Shop OIL CLEAR Sheer Pink Mattifying Pact SPF 30 PA++ TROLLS EDITION

The Face Shop OIL CLEAR Sheer Pink Mattifying Pact SPF 30 PA++ TROLLS EDITION Review

The Face Shop OIL CLEAR Sheer Pink Mattifying Pact SPF 30 PA++ TROLLS EDITION Review:

I love characters. And to me The Face Shop always has the best collaborations! Not only because of the characters themselves (because I don’t necessarily care for some of the characters – like the new Trolls for example! I’m old school and like the old trolls), but because they have an exquisite way of designing their products, emphasizing the best of each character. In this case, they were even the reason why I watched the new Trolls movie to begin with!

The first product I wanted to try was either the mattifying pact, or the sebum control compact. Because I have always wanted to try these from this store, and now I have a good excuse to try it, right? The product itself is the same as they always have in their normal package, but with cuties like this I feel that it’s a better time to get the product! Let’s see if it lives up to expectation.

I also compared with the other sebum/mattifying pacts from the same store, so that you can form your opinion properly.

[Review] Tony Moly I’m Real Tomato Mask Sheet Radiance

Tony Moly I'm Real Tomato Mask Sheet Radiance Review

Tony Moly I’m Real Tomato Mask Sheet Radiance Review:

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, essential vitamins and anti-oxidants, that are packed with Vitamins A and C, potassium and most importantly, lycopene that can reduce the risk of cancer. So it’s basically a no brainer that tomatoes are also very beneficial for our skin and I was really curious in trying out a tomato sheet mask.
Tonymoly I’m Real sheet masks are perfect for daily masking as they are thin, breathable, contain a decent amount of essence and instantly soothes and refreshes tired, dull skin. So how is the Tony Moly I’m Real Tomato Mask – Radiance differ from the rest?

[Review] Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser

New Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser Review

Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser Review:

What attracted me to this product was obviously the package. It’s baby pink, and for some reason that seems so attractive to me when it comes to skin care! Then, I read the claims they made and felt like I really wanted to try it.

Being a cleanser especially for sensitive skins, it matches what I’ve been currently using as most of my skin care. And even matches the time of the year, as the pollution is getting serious and it’s taking a toll on my skin! Also, I personally like giving some love to smaller brands, so please do read this review and find out if this is worth it.
