[REVIEW+SWATCHES] 16Brand Fruit Chu Tint 05 Apricot Gummy

16Brand Fruit Chu Tint 05 Apricot Gummy Review

16Brand Fruit Chu Tint 05 Apricot Gummy Review:

When I was browsing for a new lip tint, I found this and my eyes are attracted to its name directly. I have tried a lipstick from 16Brand before and I found myself really liking the lipstick so when I saw that they came with a new lip product, I purchased it immediately. The price itself is not too expensive. It’s a bit higher than the lipstick but I guess it’s normal because usually a liquid lip product is slightly more expensive.

If I’m not mistaken, 16Brand has a ‘Chu’ collection for their lip products. They have ‘Taste Chu’ and ‘Fruity Chu’ lipstick series and judging by the name, I think this new tint is the liquid version of their ‘Fruity Chu’ lipstick and this time they make more shades available with wider variation. They have natural to bright shade range and of course I got the most natural one.

I know about 16Brand because a lot of Korean Youtubers were talking about their products but this time I can’t find any review about this tint. Even on YouTube I didn’t see anyone talking about this product. Maybe this tint is not as hyped as their older releases but that just makes me more curious to try because most of the times an unpopular product works perfectly well on me.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige

Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige Review

Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion 201 Beige Review:

When I went to Seoul last 2017, I was not as hooked on K-beauty as I am right now. I wasn’t familiar with must-try products except for those offered by road shop brands available in the Philippines like Etude House, Tony Moly, etc. Needless to say, I was really fascinated to see women of different ages (from teens waiting in line for a ride in Everland, ladies on their commute to work, and even grandmothers on the train towards hiking destinations) applying cushion. This made me want to get my hands on this magical compact which seems to be the secret behind the coveted Korean porcelain skin.

The first ever cushion I bought was from Laneige but found it too heavy and dewy for my liking (not at all suitable for the hot and humid weather we have). I ended up just using that one a few times and giving away the refill it came with. This bad experience didn’t discourage me to avoid cushions all together though.

On the contrary, it actually made me want to try out more brands to look for my perfect match. It was last year when an online shopping site had their crazy sale on Moonshot products. All their cushions were sold for only $9.99 which I thought was such a bargain so I grabbed that opportunity to get myself one.

Reading the description of the different kinds of cushions available from the brand, I decided that this Micro Settingfit one is the most ideal for my oily skin since it claims to have a matte finish which my oily skin can benefit from. It didn’t have a refill (unlike their Balm type cushion) which was quite a bummer but I still decided to purchase this one.

By the way, Moonshot is a very new brand for me. The only information I know about it is that it has affiliations with the entertainment company YG. I’m not really a K-pop fan anymore but I believe Black Pink is their current endorser. Who wouldn’t want to achieve Lisa’s perfect skin right?

Anyway, I’ve been using this cushion for months now and I’d like to share my experience and opinions about it. If you’re curious to know if I’ve finally found my perfect cushion, please read until the end. For now, here are some details about the product:

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001

Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001 Review

Stimmung Velvet Lip Tint QV CR001 was purchased by Cosmeperks.

If you have never heard about Stimmung before, you are not alone. I’m a huge fan of K-beauty but this is my first time hearing that there’s a K-beauty brand called Stimmung. I checked their website to find more information about them but it’s full of Korean word I can’t understand, so I tried searching on YouTube to see reviews about their products. Once again, I have no answer because almost all the reviews are either in Korean or Vietnamese.

Based on what I found, seems like Stimmung is an affordable beauty brands in Korea and while I’m not sure if they have a retail store, they have a website where you can purchase it directly. I don’t know if you can get from their website if you live outside Korea though but I was so lucky to be offered by Nigama to try it!

They have various products start from lips, eyes, cheeks, and even base makeup. The unique thing about them is how they package their product. All of the products are packaged in a pouch style packaging (like a jelly drink you can find on a convenience store) which is pretty new for a K-beauty brand.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] 2019 NEW Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red

Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red Review

Etude House Powder Rouge Tint RD301 Nude Red was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I saw the new Powder Rouge Tint when I watched Pony’s (Korean beauty influencer) makeup tutorial. If I remember correctly, she used a red shade and she said that the tint is good in quality. After that, I checked Etude’s official website but it wasn’t sold yet at that moment so I think it would be an exclusive release where you can buy it on the store only and not online.

But suddenly Nigama offered me to try the tint! Actually me and Etude House lip tints have a hit and miss relationship, sometimes I really love their tint and on another day I dislike their other tints so I thought it would be fun to see if this time I will love their new release or not.

If you are a fan of red lips, I think this release will be your favorite one. The Powder Rouge Tint is available in 8 shades and all of them are reds with 4 cool undertones and the other 4 with neutral and warm undertone. The swatch itself scared me a bit because I’m not the type who will wear deep and bold shades but since Pony said it can be used thinly and the color looked gorgeous on her, I’m excited to try it.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter

BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter Review

BANILA Co Velvet Blurred Lips BE01 Milk Tea Filter Review:

The Velvet Blurred Lips is one of the newest lip products from B by BANILA, which is a sub-brand from BANILA Co. I never heard anything about this product until I watched a review from a Korean beauty Youtuber. She said that this lip cream is comfortable on the lips and have so many shades to choose from. Me, as a lip product lover, of course have to try it! I have tried their lip tint before and I loved it so much so I’m curious and want to find out if this one will work as good or not.

For a product from BANILA Co, it’s actually not too pricey. I have seen more expensive items from other brands like Missha and CLIO so I’m quite happy to see they didn’t sell it with a shocking expensive price. You can find BANILA Co products in my country but this item isn’t sold yet so I have to get it online and finally bought it together with the Covericious foundation. There are tons of online stores who sell this lip cream so I’m sure you can find it easily.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Play Color Eyes Bakehouse

Etude House Play Color Eyes Bakehouse ReviewEtude House Play Color Eyes Bakehouse Review

Etude House Play Color Eyes Bakehouse Review:

I’m sure you have heard about the famous Play Color Eyes from Etude House before. It’s a series of 10 shades-eyeshadow palettes with different themes for each palette such as Peach, Cafe (neutral brown), Wine (plums), and many more. In total they already released 6 regular edition and if I’m not mistaken, 3 Summer limited edition. This time, they are back with the latest edition to the collection, the Bake House palette.

The Bake House palette is basically a palette consists of neutral to warm brown shades. I think it’s the perfect palette if you love natural makeup look because out of the 10 shades, there are no bold or outstanding shades. All shades are safe for daily use so if you are looking for something fun or different, then you won’t like this palette.

Honestly I never tried any of the Play Color Eyes palette before because from my experience, Etude House’s eyeshadows are not the best in the pigment department (and I love pigmented eyeshadows!) but because of the color scheme, I can’t help but feel attracted to try it. All the reviews I read also saying that this particular palette is the best in the collection so it makes me more excited to try the palette.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] The Saem Mousse Candy Tint 6 Chai Tea

The Saem Mousse Candy Tint 6 Chai Tea Review

The Saem Mousse Candy Tint 6 Chai Tea Review:

Raise your hand if you’re a sucker for cute packaging! If you just did, then Korean lip tints are probably your biggest weakness (like me!). One of the cutest in my collection is definitely this The Saem Mousse Candy Tint (Disney edition). The original packaging is already cute but this one with Minnie Mouse on front is just extra adorable. Of course, cute packaging is nice and all but what we’re actually after is great quality right? Luckily, in this case, you can have both.

I first encountered this lip tint while browsing through Shopee but felt wary because there seems to be a lot of shops that sell fake versions of this. Nonetheless, my desire to try out this cutie didn’t stop me from buying it. I found a shop that sells an authentic one for a reasonable price (in my case it was around $5).

There are 10 shades to choose from: 01 Redmango, 02 Strawberry, 03 Carrot, 04 Grapefruit, 05 Yogurtberry, 06 Chai Tea, 07 Dark Cherry, 08 Apricot, 09 Peanut, and 10 Strawberry Cheese. The names of the shades are actually good descriptions of the colors they represent. I chose 06 Chai Tea, which is a darker rose shade, because it’s a color that I still didn’t have in my collection.

3CE Mood Recipe 2 Matte Lip Color 221 MellowFlower Review:

I was always intrigued by 3CE’s products for their simple packaging. It was totally up my alley. Then, when I was scrolling through Yesstyle I first saw this product. I loved the shade, but I was afraid to purchase since it’s a matte lipstick. I’m usually not a fan of matte lipsticks, so when I got it through the Yesstyle Advent Calendar, I was so happy to give it a try!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] BANILA Co Covericious Power Fit Foundation 19 Cream

BANILA Co Covericious Power Fit Foundation 19 Cream Review

BANILA Co Covericious Power Fit Foundation 19 Cream Review:

I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for a really long time. If I’m not mistaken, this was released back in March or April this year but at that time I wasn’t aware of the foundation, not until I saw the reviews a month ago. I only saw some (I think it was less than 5) reviews about it in English and it’s surprising because BANILA Co is a pretty famous Korean beauty brand internationally, but there are tons of videos and blogs talking about it in Korean because it was so hyped and popular there.

BANILA CO is one of the ‘up-there’ road shop Korean brands, means they have more expensive price compared to other road shop brands like Etude, Skinfood, The Saem etc yet doesn’t belong to the luxurious brands either. In my country BANILA CO is pretty expensive so the only way I can afford the foundation is by buying it directly from Korea to get more affordable price.

BANILA CO advertised it as a ‘full coverage’ foundation with lightweight feeling and stay up to 36 hours of wearing with Hydrolyzed Collagen that will help with skin elasticity. After I read the claim I was so intrigued! As a woman who almost being 30, any product containing collagen is a must try so let’s see if the foundation will do wonders on my skin or not.
