[REVIEW] Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice Review

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush 04 Berry Beet Juice Review:

Powder blush, at least for me, can sometimes come off as fake-looking and patchy, especially during the dry winter seasons. Plus, it needs to be applied with a brush, which requires the extra time and effort. As someone who literally only has five minutes to get ready, every second counts.

Having heard that liquid blush could give you a natural flush, lit from within, that actually lasts all day, I was immediately curious as to whether these were true. When I scoured the Internet for affordable, skin-friendly liquid blushes, the first product that came up was Skinfood’s Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction Blush, a watery blush enriched with various fruit extracts to create a natural rosy look. When I eagerly swatched all the shades at the closest Skinfood store, I immediately fell in love. Without further ado, here is my review!

[REVIEW] Moonshot Cream Paint Lightfit M212 Pale Leaves

Moonshot Cream Paint Lightfit M212 Pale Leaves Review

Moonshot Cream Paint Lightfit M212 Pale Leaves Review:

When I went to South Korea for the very first time, this product was undoubtedly #1 on my to-buy list. If you ask me the reason, with no shame I am going to say because it’s endorsed by my favorite Korean girl group which is Blackpink.

Moonshot itself is a Korean cosmetic brand launched back in 2014 by YG Entertainment. So it’s not a relatively new brand since it’s been almost 4 years. But I believe the existence of this brand itself is, sadly, only known to a limited amount of people. I would guess it is because YG isn’t a beauty related company and because the price isn’t really budget friendly – okay the pricing is actually mid-range, but still – so lots was hesitant to buy it without much review yet.

So here I am, doing Moonshot a favor and writing my review on this lip cream I very much adore!

[REVIEW] 2018 New Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising Review

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At first I wasn’t going to try this mask. Because, honestly, “half face masks” are silly to me, since my whole face needs attention. Still, the fact that I often mask in the shower made it very appealing for me to use a sheet mask in the shower! Hard to resist.

I tried but in the end decided not to resist anymore. This mask comes in Moisturizing and Exfoliating variants, I chose the Moisturizing one because the other one needs to be washed off in the end (it is exfoliating supposedly) so I chose the one that is closer to the traditional mask sheet.

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Provence Intensive Ampoule Foundation 01 Light Beige

Nature Republic Provence Intensive Ampoule Foundation 01 Light Beige Review

Nature Republic Provence Intensive Ampoule Foundation 01 Light Beige Review:

I went to Nature Republic near my place weeks ago and I saw this foundation. I never tried any of Nature Republic base product so I was kinda curious and wanted to try one. They have several type of foundations but the name of this foundation itself caught my attention.

From its name, seems the foundation contains ampoule which I believe is very beneficial for the skin. I love when base makeups used skin care ingredients so it’s like I got 2 benefits in one product. It also contain red ginseng, royal jelly, and propolis which is good for moisturizing and firming the skin.

The price is a little bit ‘up there’ but I think it’s fair that it costs more than their other foundations since it has good ingredients. Unfortunately, the shade range is very disappointing. It has only 2 shades option and both shades are so light. I think only very fair to light skinned people can use this foundation.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Colorgram Thunderbolt Tint Mousse 01 Fire Burn Red

Colorgram Thunderbolt Tint Mousse 01 Fire Burn Red Review

Colorgram Thunderbolt Tint Mousse 01 Fire Burn Red was purchased by Cosmeperks.

As soon as I was introduced to this brand I ran to Olive Young to check it out (that’s also when I got this product). The design is adorable and it became even more adorable when I saw it with the other products from the collection. I mean, they are cute and pretty, without being too childish. And I honestly feel like the Flash each time I pull this out of my pouch!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] 2018 New Etude House Active Proof Shield Wear Color Tint PK001 Namaste Yoga Pink

Etude House Active Proof Shield Wear Color Tint PK001 Namaste Yoga Pink Review

Etude House Active Proof Shield Wear Color Tint PK001 Namaste Yoga Pink Review:

Since it’s almost summer in Korea, many brands are releasing their summer collection. I love summer collection because they are more waterproof, sweatproof, and stay all day long. One of the brands that releases the summer products early is Etude House. No wonder, because Etude House is known as a brand that always making products according to the season (they even release a mini USB fan and a drinking bottle special for the summer!).

Their summer collection is called Active Proof and it consists of lip tints, skin base (more like a foundation), mascara, sunscreens, soothing gel, shower tissue, eyebrow drawing tip, and even a cooler! Just from its name, I can see that the collection will have good lasting power and stay all day. Definitely a must have for oily-skinned girls.

Since I can’t find the skin base yet in my country, I purchased the Color Tint first. They only have 3 shades which is disappointing and the color options are red, orange, and pink. It’s too basic in my opinion but I still purchased it nonetheless.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush Review

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush Review:

Innisfree did a collaboration project with Snoopy months ago (or its it last year? I’m not quite sure) and when I saw it at my nearest Innisfree store, I fell in love with the Creamy Vivid Tint. It’s really good and worth the price but they only had 3 shades. That’s why I decided to get another shade but this time is from the regular edition. I saw some reviews saying that they have different performance so I’m a little bit curious about that.

In the regular line, they have 12 shades available, quite a lot for a lip tint but guess what, most of the shades are pretty similar. The shade range consist of pinks, reds, oranges, and berries. I swatched most of them on the store and I have to say the shades were very similar indeed. Even with the bright lighting on the store I had a hard time to differentiate each shades.

The one that caught my attention the most is the orange shade 04 Tangerine Slush. Not because I love orange lip color but that shade was so bright and eye-catching, it was the most different shade among the 12 shades so of course I purchased it right away.

[REVIEW] Peripera Ink Concealer 02 Blemish Hider Beige

Peripera Ink Concealer 02 Blemish Hider Beige Review

Peripera Ink Concealer 02 Blemish Hider Beige Review:

Being a person with a sensitive and acne prone skin, acne isn’t my only skin problem. Actually after I’ve found out the suitable skincare routine for myself, my face is now acne-free most of the time. And now the remaining problem is hyperpigmentation. So that being said, I’ve been on the look for a great concealer that can cover my hyperpigmentation and also my dark circles (yes, I have those and it is a problem too).

After reading lots of reviews and recommendations, I went to my favorite seller in Shopee (a mobile marketplace) who are selling Korean products. I was initially going to buy from another brand but unfortunately the color that match my skintone was sold out at that time, so I looked for an alternative concealer and that’s how I found this one!
Honestly speaking, I bought this concealer without much research. Because it is fairly new at that time, there wasn’t any review yet on the internet. In English, at least. So I bought it based on my belief that Peripera is a good makeup brand. All of their lip products are a hit in Korea and even in my own country, Indonesia. So this concealer couldn’t be so bad. And thankfully, I was right.

There are two options for the shade. #1 is Cover King Vanilla and #2 is Blemish Hider Beige. I got myself the second one because the other seems like it would be too fair in my skin.

[REVIEW] Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP | 2017 Version

Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP Review

Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP Review:

In 2017, Clio renewed their best-selling founwear cushion into something classier, with an updated formula promising 48 hours of wear instead of 24. The new XP version highlights a semi-matte finish which mimics skin, that is non-cakey nor sticky. It’s supposedly a mix between their original founwear and conceal cushion. The previous founwear and ampoule cushions were my favorite during the winter season, however I wanted something that I could use during all seasons, particularly in Spring and Fall when my skin changes from combo-oily to combo-dry.
