Whamisa by Glow Recipe Green Tea Serum Toner Review

Whamisa by Glow Recipe Green Tea Serum Toner Review:

This innovative serum toner duo was cooked up through a collaboration with well known K-beauty retailer Glow Recipe and equally as well known K-cosmetic brand Whamisa. The collaboration was intended to introduce new and perhaps not so new K-beauty consumers around the world to Whamisa grade products at a more budget friendly price without compromising quality and effectiveness.

I decided to purchase this product when formulating my skin care routine late 2017. It is one of my first introductions to both Whamisa brand and Glow Recipe brand products.

[REVIEW] Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence Review

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence Review:

I was searching for a first treatment essence to add in my routine and I stumbled upon this. I compared this to both SKII Treatment Essence and Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence and both are much more expensive for a newbie. So, I picked Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence thinking that if this is good for my routine, I can always upgrade.

[REVIEW] Bonajour Eggplant Daily BHA Toner

Bonajour Eggplant Daily BHA Toner Review

Bonajour Eggplant Daily BHA Toner Review:

I wanted to try this product as soon as I heard about it for two reasons. One is that Bonajour is a surprisingly good brand that keeps amazing me, and they do use lots of natural ingredients. The other one is… it’s an Eggplant toner, come on. And it’s purple! Wouldn’t you want to try that?

[REVIEW] Etude House Real Art Moisture Cleansing Oil

Etude House Real Art Moisture Cleansing Oil Review

Etude House Real Art Moisture Cleansing Oil Review:

Cleansing oils seemed odd at first to me, the idea of using oil to cleanse your skin just seemed backward or odd. I had first seen this oil cleanser (or an earlier version) in Seoul and I couldn’t quite get my head around it. But at the same time, I became curious about what it would be like to use oil to cleanse skin. Naturally this wasn’t the first oil cleanser I used, but it was the first one that I saw, so, it made sense that at some point I would end up trying this oil cleanser out. Especially when I saw how cheap it was compared to some of the other oil cleansers.

[REVIEW] Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink

Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink Review

Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink Review:

As a girl with a very oily and textured skin, I’m not a biggest fan of liquid highlighter. I found them too slippery for my liking and they are not as shiny as the powder highlighter. That’s why I’m not that excited when I saw the advertisement for Maybelline’s newest liquid highlighter. I remember they released this highlighter in a stick formula and I think it’s the first time they made a liquid highlighter since I never saw something like this from their collection before.

Since Maybelline sell their products all around the world, it’s not weird to see they have different packaging for each region. I believe the one I got is exclusively for sale in Asia region. The packaging is shorter and a little bit chubbier. The one they sell in the United States is more flat and thin. They have more volume (20 ml) compared to the Asian’s version which only have 18 ml and they are 3 shades available to choose from while the one I have is available in 2 shades only.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask BHA

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask BHA Review

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask BHA Review:

You can never buy too many sheet masks. That might be one of the many things that make them amazing. You can try all sorts of sheet masks and you never have enough, unlike multiple-use masks that take up space and cost more… That perfectly sums up why I love sheet masks.

I was looking for sheet masks with BHA, since it’s my favourite ingredient and it works the best on my skin. I’ve also been quite curious about Innisfree’s masks since I’ve only tried the real squeeze masks (and loved them). I found the price to be decent so I decided to give this mask a try.

[REVIEW] L.A Colors Truly Matte Foundation CLM351 Porcelain

L.A Colors Truly Matte Foundation CLM351 Porcelain Review

L.A Colors Truly Matte Foundation CLM351 Porcelain Review:

I have no idea there’s a brand called L.A Colors before I found about them after watching some of my favorite Youtubers talked about their products. L.A Colors is known as one of the most affordable brands out there, their prices range is similar to other drugstore brands such as Revlon, Wet n Wild, and L.A Girl. They have complete make up collection from eye products, face products, lip products, and even make up tools and brush cases! They have everything you need in affordable prices so it’s no wonder this brand is really hyped among the US Youtubers.

One of the most recent hyped product from them is the Truly Matte Foundation. I saw most of beauty Youtubers were talking about it and it intrigues me because they said the foundation is full coverage, feels lightweight on the skin, and pretty affordable. I love cheap, full coverage foundation so I decided to buy it and try it myself.

It’s a little bit tricky to get this product though because it’s hard to find their products on big drugstores and the easiest way to get them is from Ebay or Amazon but recently they upgraded their online website so you can also buy directly from them.

[REVIEW] KICHO Sheep Oil Cream Lanolin & 8 Berry

KICHO Sheep Oil Cream Lanolin & 8 Berry Review

KICHO Sheep Oil Cream Lanolin & 8 Berry Review:

I got this product last year in Spring. I was super excited because I had read so many reviews of how amazing it is, and how it is a Holy Grail for so many Korean Beauty enthusiasts! I loved my Guerisson Horse Oil cream and had just finished it when I got my hands on this. Now, I admit I already knew the Guerisson one was too moisturizing for Spring and Summer, but it was perfect for Winter. With it’s snail and oil it made my skin great during that horrible season.

So I saved this Kicho Sheep Oil cream until Winter started and tried it then! Now, at the end of Winter, I have a full review and an empty pot of cream.

[REVIEW] Etude House Collagen Eye Patch

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch Review

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch Review:

Lately, I started to give more attention to my under eyes area. Even I do not have serious problem on my under eyes area, but I think it is better to give it extra treatment since I am, of course, getting older from day to day. Considering that fact, I start looking for good products to tighten skin around eyes. My lack of experience for eye patch products makes me a bit confused to choose which product I should try since there are a lot of brands out there. So, I started with the most popular K-brand, Etude House.

I was interested with the collagen essence in this eye patch. I love collagen in my skincare. Collagen makes my skin moist and keeps its elasticity for youthful look. Besides, another interesting content from the ingredients list is Retinol which works as an anti-aging active. Therefore, I expected this product would give me a good result. Moreover, Etude House’s products usually work nicely on my skin. This is my third pack of Etude House Collagen Eye Patch and I am going to tell you how this product works on my skin.
