[Review] My Scheming Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask

My Scheming Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask Review

My Scheming Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask Sheet Review:

Today’s review is on My Scheming Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask. Mandelic acid is a type of gentler Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from almonds that can aid in skin repair. It is often used for combating hyper pigmentation and uneven tone especially those recovering from acne scars. My Scheming is a solid choice for sheet masks since these can effectively brighten, soothe inflamed skin and address a lot of other skin troubles.

[Review] Benton Honest TT Mist

Benton Honest TT Mist Review

Benton Honest TT Mist Review:

The summer heat is driving me nuts. It’s making me uncomfortable and icky most times so I have this urge to wash myself (hands, face and whatnot) as much as I can –funny thing is, I feel this whenever I am outside so water and soap may not be really available at all times. Some prefer to freshen up with wet wipes but I find it sticky even if you say that these wipes were practically soaked in water. I can do with alcohol even if they are drying but it only applies to my body parts. Now, what about my face? Logically, I searched for a good facial mist and that is how I found Benton Honest TT Mist.

[Review] Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Review

Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream was purchased by Cosmeperks for review purposes.

Etude House recently released a new skincare line called Soon Jung. It is an affordable line, that comes in two sizes for people who don’t want to jump right in to something, or people who prefer smaller sizes in general (like me!) and I have the mission of reviewing it. After reviewing the toner, I decided to review the cream, since they are the two most important parts of a skin routine (in my opinion) and so I decided to test those two first.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Review

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Review:

I have been using Aloe Vera gels for many years now, and for many purposes. I find Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel works best for me for a decent price here in the world of Korean Beauty. There are ones with higher percentage, good for other stuff, but the ones between 90 and 95% I find work the best for me. And since Nature Republic is quite affordable, this gel has been a good option for the past few months. Now that the warm weather is arriving to Korea, I decided to review this and let you know all of the good things that come with this gel!

Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Lemon | Review

Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Lemon Review

During puberty, I was lucky enough to have an acne-free face. I do, however, suffer from having a very dull skin. My face may be blemish free yet I feel that something is really wrong with it. A friend once suggested me to use astringent to remove the dead skin but I was really hesitant because I feel that it is way too harsh on skin. 10 years later and I still wear this dull-looking face; still have this negative perception towards peeling. To address this issue, I am in constant search for products that could alleviate my skin condition in a gentle yet effective way. From sugar scrubs to peeling gels –where some are effective and most are just meh; now I am giving this Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Lemon a shot, because why not?

Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence | Review

Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence Review

Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence Review:

So, I have been in a struggle for a few months, trying to get rid of my blemishes and trying to normalize my pores’ shapes (they’re supposed to be round, but mine have all sorts of shapes). According to an examination I did in the Innisfree store, where they measure your skin everything-levels, my blemishes and pores could be solved with one of two essences. This one, or the one from the orchid collection. So, for starters I chose Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence.

Just to break the suspense, it did work, but I will still try the other one, in case it works better for my specific case. Below I will analyze the essence independently of my skin goal, and focusing solely on the feeling and sensation, also the effects of this essence!

Innisfree Bija Cica Balm | Review

Innisfree Bija Cica Balm Review

Innisfree Bija Cica Balm Review:

As an avid Innisfree fan of course I wanted to try this product as soon as it was announced. Of course I took the opportunity and applied for a tester set of 5 days. Innisfree Bija Cica Balm was released with the same base idea of the previous True Care Cica Intensive balm, and everyone in Korea went crazy as soon as it came out. It doesn’t retail for a particularly cheap price, 22000 KRW, but also not expensive enough that it would stop people from trying it. Continue reading if it really worth the hype or not.

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad Review:

Poring through countless pages on chemical exfoliation which ties into my interest in Asian skincare, it was only a matter of time before I came across the ever popular COSRX brand. And while their BHA Blackhead Power Liquid seems more fitting of the chemical exfoliation title, I was wary of the relatively high percentage of BHA (being a beginner and all), so I sought alternatives, and found this instead.

Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream | Review

Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream

Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream Review:

“Have I heard right? 74 % of snail secretion filtrate aka snail slime? That’s awesome! I must try that!” That is what I was thinking when I was first introduced to this product. 45 ml of snail slime (and other ingredients as well, but still, SNAIL SLIME!?) and everybody talking about it, was enough for me to order it straight away — for less than 5$ it would be a shame for not trying it, because I just love trying out the products that have unique ingredients.
