[Review] Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review:

If I get really famous one day and someone actually asked me to do a “what’s in your bag” episode you would found that anti-histamines is definitely a staple! You see, I am pretty much allergic; to what, exactly, I could not tell either nor the dermatologist that I have visited before but it has been the case since I was a kid and I’ve been so used to carrying anti-histamine in my pouch.

I would usually get red patches (sometimes without even realizing because most of the time, they aren’t even itchy) and my condition is being aggravated by the summer heat. Considering how sensitive my skin could get, I shy away from lotion, body creams or any other stuff that you slather on your body for extra moisture.

Besides, I am not comfortable on wearing such because they are so thick and way too heavy for my liking. But then again, there are times when I get really dry patches so I keep myself open for products that may alleviate my condition sans le grease.

And that’s exactly how I found Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel –hold your horses, I am not reviewing that! ☺ The aforementioned product seems alright for me but I generally dislike stuff that comes in tub because I find them unhygienic and I don’t really feel like carrying a bulky tub around so I was pretty ecstatic when I found that the famous Aloe Gel also comes in mist form! Let’s see if I’ve come like Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist as much as the original form.

[Review] COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask Sheet

COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask Sheet Review

COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask Sheet Review:

Cosrx while relatively a new brand is a crowd favorite amongst Asian Beauty. Most of their products, if not all is very promising (at least for me) as they cater to acne-prone and oily skin. What’s even better is the fact that their ingredients always seem to be neat so even people with sensitive skin can use them.

I personally own few cosrx products and they are pretty good. It’s just that sometimes, I feel that they are way too mild but effective, nonetheless. So it was just a matter of time that I try the one and only sheet mask released by this brand –the Holy Moly Snail Mask.

[Review] New The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil

New The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil Review

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil Review:

My life—and not to mention, my skin—has been forever changed since getting into Asian beauty. This journey began with The Face Shop’s Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil, which I picked up after hearing about the double cleansing method.

I realized that just plain ol’ make up remover or facial wash just wasn’t enough to remove the concoction of gunk (hello waterproof make up, sweat, sebum and grime!) that was sitting on my face for hours. And so, I scoured the internet for noteworthy Asian oil cleansers that were cheap, effective and readily available—all of which pointed to the Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil from The Face Shop.

[Review] New 2016 Leejiham LJH Tea Tree Soothing Mask

Leejiham LJH Tea Tree Soothing Mask Review

Leejiham LJH Tea Tree Soothing Mask Review:

Leejiham is more famously known for its Tea Tree 90 essence that is well loved by those who have troubled and sensitive skin. Tea tree works by soothing and healing irritated, inflamed or itchy skin. Tea tree oil is a very powerful antiseptic that can heal and treat wounds and blemishes such as spots, pimples and acne. Some studies report that tea tree is just as effective as benzoyl peroxide acne treatment, but more gentle, and non-drying.

I have been contemplating to get the Leejiham Tea Tree 90 essence for my PMS spots but this tea tree sheet mask allowed me to experience this essence, and the results have been really nice, especially for my troubled skin.

[Review] Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water

Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water Review

Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water Review:

I got this item as a part of a cleansing kit, but this (and one of the other products) was the whole reason why I got the kit! I am attracted to green packages that subconsciously promise our brain natural goods to our skin.

Thesize of the bottle isn’t too big, meaning it doesn’t trap you to this product for too long, and the price is low enough that if you do want to stick to it you can purchase it again. So I wanted to give it a try. Also, for those who decide to keep using it, there’s a bigger size. I do appreciate when stores make 2 sized products.

[Review] Aritaum Fresh Power Essential Hyaluronic Acid Mask

Aritaum Fresh power essential Hyaluronic Acid Mask Review

Aritaum Fresh power essential Hyaluronic Acid Mask Review:

I am on a personal quest to find out which Aritaum masks are good and which ones are a little less than pleasing. I’ve already encountered both cases, and the good ones have been the most surprising “flavors” for me! So I decided to be adventurous and try something I didn’t even hear about until I got into Asian Beauty and that is Hyaluronic Acid.

This specific mask from Aritaum has even been voted the best hydration mask in a blind test in one episode of Get It Beauty, the most famous beauty TV show here in Korea. Usually this TV show doesn’t hit the marks by much, as they give a detailed explanation and details of the points of each product, so knowing this was the winner increased my expectations by a relative amount.

[Review] Mamonde Rose Water Toner

Mamonde Rose Water Toner Review

Mamonde Rose Water Toner Review:

Continuing my search of hydrating toners by browsing various skincare blogs and forums, I stumbled upon this particular highly raved about toner. Claiming to be “3 Free” (later explained in the product claims section), and also free of my usual skincare triggers, I decided to give it a go. Fortunately, I managed to find a local reseller of the 150mL bottles before committing myself to the larger sizes (not to worry, though, as I’ve included an international link for the 150mL if anyone’s curious like I was!), and well, read on to find out whether or not this was a good decision!

[Review] Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review:

Since I claim to be on a skincare journey, I wanted it to be as happy as possible. What other way to make it fun besides to get adventurous and exhaust options right? After all, Korean Beauty has a very wide range and interesting ingredients. From the odd ones (pig collagen and snail goo) to hanbang (traditional medicine like ginseng) there’s just way too much variety it is impossible to run out of things to try on! One of the key ingredients that I have been interested on for a while is rice. “

Rice, what?!” I don’t know about you but I live on this side of the earth where rice is just something that you put in your mouth whenever you are hungry. Apparently, rice is not only good for your grumbling tummy but is also good for your unnourished skin. Since I have fallen in love with Skinfood Black Sugar Strawberry Wash-Off Mask, it wouldn’t make sense if I don’t buy the rice variant right?
