[REVIEW] MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki

MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki Review

MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule Olive Khaki Review:

The thought of dyeing my hair temporarily came when I planned to go on a short vacation. Actually there was still a trace of brownish from my last dye. Some parts of my hair was still dry and had split ends also, due to the last dye I did to my hair. So this time, I preferred to try a temporary hair colorant that wouldn’t cause more breakage and this notation came to my mind : why not trying a color treatment ampoule? Moreover, I could choose an uncommon color since it will rinsed off after 1 – 2 weeks.

It took me some weeks to contemplate between some brands, from Etude House to April Skin. However, I chose MOETA Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule at the end. It has more color options and much more economic too; it costs less than $8 for 30 mL and around $14 for 60 mL.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae

Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae Review

Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae Review:

Lately I have been using a lot of masks made out of seaweed, since it’s a fashion currently in Korea. I must say beforehand this mask has nothing to do with the Mamonde Seaweed Dustcut mask! I mean, maybe a little, after all it’s seaweed, but there are other masks this is more similar to. Seaweed should be good for the summer, and Jeju is the place in Korea with the most (and the best) natural resources – so Innisfree being a Jeju brand it’s no use they used Jeju seaweed. Although you may be surprised with the other ingredients in the mask, and their origins.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Innisfree Vivid Slimfit Tint 01 Ice Peach Tea

Innisfree Vivid Slimfit Tint 01 Ice Peach Tea Review

Innisfree Vivid Slimfit Tint 01 Ice Peach Tea Review: (Product purchased by Cosmeperks)

Innisfree recently just launched another lip product called the Vivid Slim Fit Tint. It’s a lip tint with a vivid pigmentation and the product size is pretty slim and tall, exactly true to its name. They have 7 shades for the first launch and judging from the swatch picture, it’s a pretty matte lip tint.

They launched another collection called the Jeju Color Picker with 3 new shades and I ordered it already from my local seller, but they sent me the wrong product and turned out they got the wrong items too from the supplier but Nigama was so nice to let me try this product instead of the Jeju Color Picker one!

Among the 7 shades, most of them are in pinks and reds, as usual for a Korean lip product but I’m sure everyone can find their favorite shade since most of the colors, even though they lean towards warm tone, are pretty universal and can be worn by every skin tone, from fair to deep skin tones.

[REVIEW] Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review:

Frankly speaking, I always find it tricky to do product review toward sheet masks. I personally think that one shouldn’t make opinion or verdict only by just once usage. You know, sheet masks always claim something ‘woah’ like ‘nourishes skin’, ‘make skin bright and glossy’, or even ‘improve skin texture’, but I’ve never wished a pipe dream like those after waking up in the morning (I always use the sheet mask before a night-sleep). And I hope you think the same, because I’m afraid the first thing you’ll find in the morning is disappointment.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m an anti. To put it better, I’m actually a big fan of sheet masks. Sheet masks are very beneficial for the skin, that’s why I frequently use a sheet mask each week. I just want you to lower your expectations and be realistic, since those admiring effect couldn’t be seen by using only one or two masks.

Since I frequently use a sheet mask, I’ve rambled around many brands and types of sheet masks so I hope my review would be objective and helpful. I don’t usually review a sheet mask, unless it leaves a lingering feeling or some impression to me, just like what MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask – Rice does.

[REVIEW] Bonajour Extreme Spot Serum

Bonajour Extreme Spot Serum Review

Bonajour Extreme Spot Serum Review:

When I first got this serum and started using it I thought it was just a good serum to plump sensitive skin. But then I moved houses and in two days of stress and dust my skin went back 10 years and I got infected stress pimples that, believe me, really hurt. For those two days all I could think is when would I get to unpack this serum – it was my last hope. I find that Bonajour products are simple, healthy and yet effective. So of course I bet my whole skin recovery on this.

[REVIEW] Moonshot Multi Protection UV FIXER SPF50+ PA+++

Moonshot Multi Protection UV FIXER SPF50+ PA+++ Review

Moonshot Multi Protection UV FIXER SPF50+ PA+++ Review:

The summer season in Hong Kong means extreme heat and humidity — not the best conditions for my oily and acne-prone skin. It also makes skincare and makeup application a bit of a challenge — it’s always a race to put my “face” on before I start sweating it off. When I found out that Moonshot was coming out with a primer that claimed to not only make makeup last longer but also provide strong UV protection, I knew I had to give it a go.

I have tried a few Moonshot makeup products in the past and haven’t been disappointed, so I had high hopes for their newly-released Multi Protection UV FIXER SPF 50+ PA+++.

[REVIEW] 2018 NEW Cosrx Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel

Cosrx Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel Review

Cosrx Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Ever since I learned about oil cleansing and double cleansing I’ve faithfully been using oil cleansers at night, but there are times when I got totally sick of using them. In those times I tried some Western micellar waters, but somehow, I found them more drying than the oil cleansers and they didn’t remove my sunscreen that well. So, even though I was completely sick of using an oil cleanser I felt as though there wasn’t another option. I had heard of cleansing milks as well but the ones I heard about seemed unable to remove sunscreen so I never bothered to try them either, but I always was curious about cleansing milks.

So naturally when I heard Cosrx was coming out with a first cleanser – and a milk type one of course I was interested in it and eager to try it. Even more so when I read that it removes sunscreen as well as base make up, because that is pretty much what I look for in a first cleanser, something to remove sunscreen and light make up. That alone made me want to buy it but also the fact that it’s made by Cosrx was the other deciding factor for me. After all, Cosrx is well known and loved internationally for their clean ingredient lists, no frills packaging and for being effective skin care products which are also reasonably priced.

You might wonder what a cleansing milk is, after all they don’t seem to be as well known as oil cleansing or as easy to find. They are designed to be more moisturizing and less stripping than other cleansers and are good for dry skin. Milk cleansers usually have a mix emollients and oils so they can remove make up as well as sunscreen. Since it is winter right now, I wanted to try something that would be gentler and less drying for my skin, so I hoped that this cleansing milk would be the perfect solution.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser (New Packaging)

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser Review

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser Review:

Innisfree is slowly renewing all of its superfood lines. I thought at first they were literally renewing (like, updating the products) but let me tell you beforehand when it comes to the Blueberry line nothing changed except for the design! I have two products from this line so I decided to check the ingredients, and at first in this cleanser the new version’s website ingredients were different!

So after a long messy week I came to know the ingredients on the website were for a future (unreleased) big version of this product. And no, the big version isn’t different, but since it’s big it has “more” blueberry and glycerin and etc, because they are measured by physical amount and not percentage.

With that out of the way, when I first started using this cleanser (actually even when I bought it) I was expecting it to be like a less good version of the Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser. I expected it to be “just a foam” that stripped the moisture a little, but with a low pH would be less harmful for the skin. Well, I must say it did surprise me and it’s way better than I thought!

[REVIEW] Shiseido Senka Perfect White Clay Cleansing Foam

Shiseido Senka Perfect White Clay Cleansing Foam Review

Shiseido Senka Perfect White Clay Cleansing Foam Review:

Well, this brand SENKA is very popular these days! I’ve seen a lot of people opened pre-order SENKA from Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore. However, you may notice that the variant I’m using is not THAT famous SENKA variant.

I use SENKA Perfect White Clay while the popular one is SENKA Perfect Whip. SENKA Perfect Whip is said to be very effective and does its claim very well despite the economical price. So, will SENKA Perfect White Clay just be a dead duck compared to its sibling or not?
