Snail mucus and bee venom are known for their anti-bacterial and healing properties. Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask works wonderfully well for acne prone and troubled skin. The two main ingredients may sound exotic and bit scary but this sheet mask is gentle and does not sting in any way!
I first discovered this I’m From Honey Mask after an epically lazy day that consisted of eating and binge watching YouTube beauty reviews. I came across Gothamista’s YouTube Channel and saw she had posted a video called “Honey Masks Smack Down. Farmacy Honey Potion and I’m From Honey Mask.”
Well, I gravitate towards honey in my skincare products like Winnie the Pooh. I also own and LOVE the Farmacy Honey Potion mask but my supply of it was dwindling so I was on the hunt for something more affordable but just as effective. “I’m From” is a Korean skincare brand that I was already familiar with because I am a slave to their honey sheet masks. According to Wishtrend’s website, the “I’m From Honey Mask” uses almost 40% pure honey from Mount Jiri in South Korea.
Tonymoly Buried Digda Peel Off Pack Review:
I’ve been an avid anime fan since Heidi first played on Portuguese television, and was aware of what Japanese animation was. That was so many years ago! Of course, as a fan, I also fell for Pokemon when the time came. And for someone who fell for Asian beauty (and this part I’m sure you understand) I saw the new collection and simply had to have it! I bought all the products I wanted as they came out, but for some reason I missed this one!
I just happened to be walking by on some-day-afternoon and saw this Tonymoly Buried Digda Peel Off Pack (imagine how shocked I was), of course I bought it on impulse. At first look it seems like the black masks going around the internet, the ones who peel off your black pores. And reading the description it clearly says it cleans the pores. So yay! I got it and let’s start! This was literally the first time I used a peel off pack, so I’ll walk you through it.
Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask Review:
Gone are the cold morning airs. It’s been very hot these past few days from where I live which means that summer has officially started. You see, I have issues with summer. First, I find the humid air pesky because it literally slaps me in the face whenever I go out. Secondly, the weather seems to draw out the oiliest in me. Can you imagine how icky that is? It’s as if the universe assisted me in prepping my face with oil so that it could attract all the dirt and dust outside.
Super gross, I know! You’d probably nod incessantly and yell go girl! If I say that I seriously need deep cleansing. We all know that impurities means breakout, right? So before things get worse, I decided to find something that could help me prevent major skin catastrophe.
Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream Review:
Nature Republic is a brand that is close to my heart. I’ve considered it as safe-buy brand for I’ve never experienced breakout with any of their products I’ve tried so far. I also think that their price range is decent although some line could be very expensive but generally prices are okay, not too cheap that you would doubt efficacy.
I first encountered Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream few years ago when I was looking for something to give my mom after my trip to Korea. She was crazy about moisturizers so I bought couple of jars to gift her and she really liked it. I didn’t get one for myself because I honestly don’t find the need of moisturizing. It is only recently that felt the need to take care of my skin better because… okay, I’m not getting any younger. Let’s see the verdict.
Nature Republic AQUA Max Watery Toner & Emulsion Review:
As you can imagine just by reading my skin type, it is a very troublesome skin. I started having acne at age 9, then, while still having it, my skin became allergic, sensitive, mixed oily and dry, and all before I even had my period! As times passed and I started finding out what is good and bad on my skin and it became more controllable and now most people can’t even imagine any of those things by looking at my skin. Which is a good thing!
My first trick is to always, at any given time, have emergency lotion in the house. A lotion focused on hydrating, without making my skin oilier, something nice and calming, and with a nice smell. Something I can use on the worst skin days.
I have tried and been satisfied with two Korean products when it comes to that, and this one is the only I still use.
Now, let me tell you, Nature Republic is like Tony Moly – usually you love some stuff and hate others, but they are cheap so you can always give them a try.
I have heard bad reviews, or disappointed reviews regarding the cream on this Aqua max line(but also lots of good reviews). But never regarding the Nature Republic Aqua Max Watery Toner & Emulsion that we are seeing here today.
First of all – this is a product that not even many Koreans know about! So, why did I buy an anti-pollution defensor? In Korea there is a lot of pollution. I don’t only mean the trash on the street, visual pollution, sound pollution, light pollution, AIR pollution as most big cities have. Those who live in south east Asia know for a fact the real enemy is the thin powder, the Chinese dust, yellow dust, red dust, it comes with a lot of names. Coming from a clean country with clean air, and living by the sea on which I dived several times and gave me a sodium cleansing, when I arrived to Korea right away I felt the damages of this pollution type. I got asthma, skin irritation and later skin allergies. When the fine dust is severe I don’t even need to check the reports, I can just look in the mirror and I will have a bunch of infected, swollen ‘pimples’ 3 times the size of a normal acne pimple, which hurt and are red as if I had just scratched them. And so there are two things one must do: proper cleansing and proper prevention. This is, by my experience, the best prevention one can take against pollution. And it really works even just as a pore protector, even when I went back home for the summer! So, with all these characteristics I just had to try this. Oh, did I mention it also has SPF 30 PA++? It’s not enough for the summer but during the winter it does the trick.
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask & Clay Mousse Mask Original Review:
Back in Europe, even when my skincare routine was as basic as 3 steps – foam cleanser, water mist, and cream, every other day I did a clay mask. Literally, I had powdered purified clay to which I would add water and make a paste, and then apply it to my face. The reason is that clay cleans and gently removes the dead skin.
So, of course when it comes to Korean skin care I also find it important to have a good clay mask, right? There are several good ones out there, but to me the one that takes the prize is the Innisfree Jeju volcanic clay mask in original. The collection has several different types, this one, the super version – for a stronger effect, and a pack for localized treatment, and of course a cleanser, a toner, a lotion, the list goes on.
