[REVIEW] Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review:

I needed a new product as a moisturizer, since the one I was using was too heavy and made my skin very oily towards the end of the day. Coincidentally, I came across Morgan Stewart’s video where she talked about this product. Since I always trust her recommendations, I decided to place this item into the cart (with bunch of other items).

[REVIEW] Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun

Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun Review

Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun Review:

Purito is a brand that I probably wouldn’t have encountered if it wasn’t for Instagram’s Asian beauty community. Unlike famous brands like Innisfree, Etude House, Tony Moly etc. which have both physical and online stores, I believe Purito products are only available online. Nonetheless, this didn’t stop them from being one of the most loved brands in the community.

Their philosophy is to use clean ingredients to restore the skin barrier. While this is mostly the case for Korean brands, Purito definitely takes this motto by heart. My favorite products from them are from the Green Level line in which all the products have ingredients with an EWG rating of 1-2 (green, hence the name). Basically, these low values of EWG rating means that the ingredients used are non-irritating. This makes the products from this line ideal for sensitive skin types.

Ever since Purito released this sunscreen, I’ve always been intrigued to find out how incredible it is since everyone raves about all the other products from this line. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now so I’m finally ready to drop my verdict.

[REVIEW] Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower Review

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower Review:

Etude House actually released this 3-minute line last year!! It’s based on the famous Ottogi 3-minute food series/range, which is a really cool and cute idea in my opinion. They came out with a range of 3 min sheet masks (30 in a pack), this wash off mask and two types of sheet masks. One of the sheet masks – the 3 minutes Turmeric one was reviewed by Ana B.

I was especially interested in the wash off mask because well I haven’t tried too many wash off masks and they seem like a great idea for the shower. The fact that it’s “3 minutes” means it should be easy to wash off and great for lazy people like me. It also contains calendula flower petals and turmeric, but more importantly to me was the fact that it was designed to be used in the shower. Since I have dry skin – I really avoid getting my face wet in the shower, until near the end because otherwise my skin gets irritated and dry. So, to me this mask looked really appealing and I hoped it would be one that washed off easily, as well as providing the boost of much needed moisture for my skin. Shall we see how well this wash off mask worked for me?

[REVIEW] 2019 NEW Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+/PA++++

Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+PA+++ Review

Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+/PA++++ was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Cosrx has been releasing some interesting new products lately, and suffice to say, I’ve been feeling pretty left out from all the hype as I’ve only had experience using their older stuff. So when Nigama offered this review opportunity shortly after the release of the new Cosrx sunscreens, I immediately jumped to chance.

And as there were 1+1 launch offers, this is just the first half of my reviews for the sleek-looking sun products from Cosrx – the Snail Essence Sun (Moisture) coming up soon! So, without further ado, here’s my take on this new sunscreen aimed towards fellow sensitive-skinned folks.

[REVIEW] HEIMISH All Clean Green Foam pH 5.5

HEIMISH All Clean Green Foam pH 5.5 Review

HEIMISH All Clean Green Foam pH 5.5 Review:

I personally prefer a cleansing product that has minimal chemical components, but of course with pocket-friendly price. Finding a cleansing foam that meets this requirement is quite problematic, since an affordable one tends to be a bit harsh for skin due to its all-chemical ingredients.

Then I found this HEIMISH pH 5.5 All Clean Green Foam, whose sheet mask (HEIMISH Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet) I tried before and fell in love with. I assume this product is still newly launched since there are only few sellers sell this. Since the mask sheet was a holy grail to me and the price was quite decent too, I dared myself to have a go.

[REVIEW] CLIO Dermatory Allantoin Hypoallergenic Moisturizing Toner

CLIO Dermatory Allantoin Hypoallergenic Moisturizing Toner Review

CLIO Dermatory Allantoin Hypoallergenic Moisturizing Toner Review:

I guess it is kind of obvious that I’m a fan of Dermatory products, considering this is the third product from them that I’m reviewing! Well I didn’t like the Dermatory sunscreen, but the emollient (emulsion) was great, and so I wanted to try the toner too. With dry and dehydrated skin, I’m always on the look out for hydrating watery toners. Dermatory markets this one as being good for sensitive skin and as being soothing. I wondered if it would be something similar to Etude House’s Soon Jung toner (which is great), as in ideal for when your skin is irritated.

It also has a short ingredient list and contains many interesting things – such as Ceramide NP, allantoin and a lot of extracts including centella, fig, honey and damask rose flower water. So, it sounded like another watery, hydrating toner with the added benefits of centella and ceramide! It also contains panthenol, like Etude House’s Soon Jung. Read on if you’re curious to see how hydrating and soothing this toner is!

[REVIEW] IUNIK Black Snail Restore Serum

IUNIK Black Snail Restore Serum Review

IUNIK Black Snail Restore Serum Review:

Snail Mucin is one of the most popular ingredients in Korean cosmetics. On its basis, cosmetic brands produce gels, creams, masks, serums and etc. For myself, to get acquainted with this magical ingredient, I chose a serum from the brand iUNIK.

The brand’s philosophy is to produce products that are ideal for the skin using natural ingredients. Agree, it sounds very tempting) The brand does not have a large number of products in its lineup. That is why I want to believe that all their products will be well formulated and will help in the fight for beautiful skin.

[REVIEW] Laneige Cream Skin Refiner

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner Review

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner Review:

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is one of the newly launched products in late 2018 and the title immediately caught my attention. In Korean skincare world, ‘skin’ refers to a product used after cleansing, or better known as toner (in Western skincare) or lotion (in Japanese skincare). But what interesting about this product is the technology used in the making: Cream Blending Technology™ melts cream into skin refiner while maintaining the content so that the skin is filled with moisture since the first skincare step. So basically, this skin refiner has the nutrition of a cream, hence resulting in the name Cream Skin Refiner.

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule

A'pieu Madecassoside Ampoule Review

A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule Review:

It starts with the name. It’s as simple as it is. We like cool and creative names but, let’s face it, it’s more practical to call a product by what it is! For example, you wouldn’t say “Benton Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack” all the time, you would just say “Benton Centella Mask” or something.

With this name there is no going wrong. I also like the design, which matches the collection completely. And the simple promise of skin protection. But does the A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule perform as well as it sells?
