[REVIEW] Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule

Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule Review

Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule Review:

Scinic is well known for their Honey all in one ampoule, and it’s an ampoule that many people enjoy using, so naturally when Scinic came out with three new ampoules I was curious to see how they would compare to the old ones. They actually came out in 2017 so they aren’t that new (oops) but it seems that not many people have tried them or written about them. The new (ceramide, centella and vitamin c) ampoules are larger (300ml) than the honey, aqua and snail ones, and also come with a pump which makes them more convenient to use.

I couldn’t resist buying (and trying) this ceramide ampoule when I found out it also contained shea butter. I’ve always been looking for products that contain both of these things because I think it sounds like a good combination. The fact that there were no reviews made me a bit nervous but in the end I just decided to try it out, even if it was a bit of a risky purchase. Read on to see if my risky purchase was a good or bad idea.

[REVIEW] 2018 NEW Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric Review

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric Review:

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this collection! It copies the Ottogi (famous food brand) design. It includes “copies” of their mayo (in shower pack), curry (this mask) and jajjang (brown mask), with also some Ottogi inspired morning mask sheets. I chose curry for my first one because it’s the best food in the world!

[REVIEW] Secret Key Thanakha Mild Sun Cream SPF47 PA+++

Secret Key Thanakha Mild Sun Cream SPF47 PA+++ Review

Secret Key Thanakha Mild Sun Cream SPF47 PA+++ Review:

The sun is something that is both amazing and scary – in the way that it brightens and lightens our days and yet too much sun exposure can give us skin cancer. I guess it isn’t something that bothers or worries everyone, but as someone who lives in a place with extremely high skin cancer rates it does bother me. Because of this I’m always researching for new or different sunscreens because I never know when one will be discontinued, or whether I’ll find one that I like using more. I usually have a bunch of sunscreens on my radar that I plan to try at some stage or another and I found this sunscreen the last time I was looking for one.

I often choose sunscreens after looking at the sunscreen filters, I don’t generally care too much about the other ingredients which may or not be a bad thing. But what I look for is a sunscreen that protects against both types of UVA rays (and UVB rays too). Some sunscreens only partially protect against all of the range of UVA rays, which automatically rules them out for me. It’s another reason I like mineral sunscreens because the mineral filters protect against all the types of UV rays (UVA1, UVA2 and UVB) so it’s easy (for a lazy person like me) to check if it protects well against UVA rays. Phew I wrote a lot of boring stuff, right? Unsurprisingly I mostly chose this sunscreen because it was a mineral sunscreen and I had good experience with the last Secret Key sunscreen. Not the most exciting reason, but somehow this sunscreen appealed more than any of the others I had been researching, so read on if you’re curious to see how well it performed.

[REVIEW] 9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm | relieving & anti-redness

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review:

9wishes isn’t a brand I’m wholly familiar with, and from their brand, I’ve only really seen this particular line around – I bought mine in a physical Watsons during my Bangkok trip last year – and maybe a few other products like their Vanishing Balm which apparently works well as a tone-up cream. But after consulting a friend who’s tried the Oxygen type from this line and having encouraging results, I decided to snag myself one to try.

[REVIEW] 2018 New Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising Review

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At first I wasn’t going to try this mask. Because, honestly, “half face masks” are silly to me, since my whole face needs attention. Still, the fact that I often mask in the shower made it very appealing for me to use a sheet mask in the shower! Hard to resist.

I tried but in the end decided not to resist anymore. This mask comes in Moisturizing and Exfoliating variants, I chose the Moisturizing one because the other one needs to be washed off in the end (it is exfoliating supposedly) so I chose the one that is closer to the traditional mask sheet.

[REVIEW] Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 / PA++

Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 PA++ Review

Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 / PA++ Review:

I have tried some other products from Klairs, (like the Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop & the Supple Preparation Facial Toner) and I am very satisfied with those. Klairs is a well known brand for sensitive skins, which already has my attention, and the luxurious ingredients in this formula totally made me give it a go.

[REVIEW] New 2018 OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++

OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA Review

OMI Menturm Japan Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++ was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When it comes to sunscreens, I admit that I’m quite partial to Japanese formulations. Due to their high SPF/PA ratings to block out harmful UV rays, cosmetic elegance, double function as makeup primers and availability in local stores, it’s no wonder that I always end up picking out one or two to try when I’m low on sun protection.

Hence, when I was approached by Cosmeperks to try out a recently launched sunscreen from Menturm, I was intrigued right off the bat and agreed almost instantaneously. Putting honesty at the forefront of all my reviews, did this sunscreen manage to flirt its way into my “forever repurchase” list?

[REVIEW] Scinic The Simple Calming Toner pH 5.5

Scinic The Simple Calming Toner Review

Scinic The Simple Calming Toner pH 5.5 was purchased by Cosmeperks.

This is a new product from a brand that honestly receives less love than it should. And after using it I can tell you this toner also receives an underwhelming amount of love, it definitely deserves more!

Scinic isn’t a brand that gets enough recognition, but I hope you will read this and maybe give the brand a shot. It truly is a simple toner and I am more surprised with this toner than I have been with others.

[REVIEW] New Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask | Soothing & Defense

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask Review

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Madecassoside Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Etude House recently added few more masks to their signature mask collection. It took me a good 20 minutes in the store to choose which one I wanted, and since I couldn’t decide I ended up choosing the one most people would probably be more curious about – Madecassoside. Now, I have tried my share of madecassoside or soothing and repairing masks for sensitive skin, so I have a high standard. And very high hopes actually! The other newly released variants are Cherry Blossom, White Flower, and Artemisia.
