[REVIEW] Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule

Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule Review

Scinic Ceramide 100 All in One Ampoule Review:

Scinic is well known for their Honey all in one ampoule, and it’s an ampoule that many people enjoy using, so naturally when Scinic came out with three new ampoules I was curious to see how they would compare to the old ones. They actually came out in 2017 so they aren’t that new (oops) but it seems that not many people have tried them or written about them. The new (ceramide, centella and vitamin c) ampoules are larger (300ml) than the honey, aqua and snail ones, and also come with a pump which makes them more convenient to use.

I couldn’t resist buying (and trying) this ceramide ampoule when I found out it also contained shea butter. I’ve always been looking for products that contain both of these things because I think it sounds like a good combination. The fact that there were no reviews made me a bit nervous but in the end I just decided to try it out, even if it was a bit of a risky purchase. Read on to see if my risky purchase was a good or bad idea.

[REVIEW] 2018 NEW Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric Review

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric Review:

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this collection! It copies the Ottogi (famous food brand) design. It includes “copies” of their mayo (in shower pack), curry (this mask) and jajjang (brown mask), with also some Ottogi inspired morning mask sheets. I chose curry for my first one because it’s the best food in the world!

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet AHA/BHA

Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet AHA BHA Review

Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet AHA/BHA Review:

I bought a couple of this collection’s masks literally because the packages look so simple and pretty. And then I read each of the available types (hyaluronic acid, aha/bha, madecassoside, vitamin E, vitamin C, ceramide, tea tree, pantenol, allantoin, collagen) and regret not buying one of each. I mean, they sure do sound wonderful, right?

I used a BHA toner once, and loved it and keep wanting to insert it back into my routine, so I thought of using this mask first. Will it be up to standard? Yes. Yes it will!

[REVIEW] Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97%

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97% Review

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum 97% Review:

There are a good number of Korean skincare and cosmetics products that adopt cutesy designs to attract female consumers. There is a part of me that goes “wooh” and “wah” over these too. But there is just one brand that I think was meant to achieve this, but somehow I did not take to it – Elizavecca.

Reading up on the brand story of Elizavecca, it was said to be established by a “Korean student who studied traditional Chinese medicine” in Year 2011. The brand prides itself on offering its products at affordable prices to allow more people to enjoy beautiful skin. It uses picture of a pig and many of its products has the word “piggy” on their name. I do not find the pig cute and in fact felt that the whole feel of its range of products feel unprofessional and unconvincing.

But as I was searching for hyaluronic product to alleviate my dehydrated skin, this Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% which garnered many raved reviews kept coming up on the search results.  So I decided I should cast aside my biasness and give it a try.

[REVIEW] 9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm | relieving & anti-redness

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review:

9wishes isn’t a brand I’m wholly familiar with, and from their brand, I’ve only really seen this particular line around – I bought mine in a physical Watsons during my Bangkok trip last year – and maybe a few other products like their Vanishing Balm which apparently works well as a tone-up cream. But after consulting a friend who’s tried the Oxygen type from this line and having encouraging results, I decided to snag myself one to try.

[REVIEW] Kikumasamune Sake Skin Lotion High Moist

Kikumasamune Sake Skin Lotion High Moist Review

Kikumasamune Sake Skin Lotion High Moist Review:

It is said that in the past, Geisha used the leftover sake of their clients as a beauty product, to soften and brighten their skin tone.

The company that produces this lotion is the Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewing Co., Ltd., a very popular sake company in Japan founded in 1659. According to the company, sake has beneficial effects for the skin, giving the skin luster and preventing aging. This lotion, released in 2013 contains not only sake, but a pretty impressive list of ingredients.

After I found out about this product, I knew I had to have it.

Sake? On my skin? Let’s see how it went.

[REVIEW] 2018 New Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising Review

Mamonde In Shower Mask Moisturising was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At first I wasn’t going to try this mask. Because, honestly, “half face masks” are silly to me, since my whole face needs attention. Still, the fact that I often mask in the shower made it very appealing for me to use a sheet mask in the shower! Hard to resist.

I tried but in the end decided not to resist anymore. This mask comes in Moisturizing and Exfoliating variants, I chose the Moisturizing one because the other one needs to be washed off in the end (it is exfoliating supposedly) so I chose the one that is closer to the traditional mask sheet.

[REVIEW] Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 / PA++

Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 PA++ Review

Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 / PA++ Review:

I have tried some other products from Klairs, (like the Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop & the Supple Preparation Facial Toner) and I am very satisfied with those. Klairs is a well known brand for sensitive skins, which already has my attention, and the luxurious ingredients in this formula totally made me give it a go.

[REVIEW] 2018 NEW Cosrx X Hanbyul Hydrogel Very Simple Pack

Cosrx X Hanbyul Hydrogel Very Simple Pack Review

Cosrx X Hanbyul Hydrogel Very Simple Pack was purchased by Cosmeperks

I will come right out and say it: I had no idea who Hanbyul was until I heard of this product. But I must say I did notice her around more after this! Anyway, I have been dying to try some Cosrx product that comes in these recipients (this pack, the pads, anything) simply because for some reason I really like the box.

Anyway, I have been masking almost once a day, and then I see this cute product that makes it seem so much easier to mask while doing other stuff without it falling off or dripping.
