[REVIEW] The Saem Natural Daily Original Rose Mask

The Saem Natural Daily Original Rose Mask Review

The Saem Natural Daily Original Rose Mask Review:

I’ll admit that I’ve been totally obsessed with wash off masks this year! And strangely, I’ve been wanting to try floral and rose related ones, because they just sound good? Earlier in the year, I was looking for a new wash off mask and I came across this one. There weren’t many reviews about it, but the fact that it said “daily” and also “moisturizing” made me want it. After all I want a wash off mask that can be used daily, and is also easy to wash off. Of course, it needs to be moisturizing as well!

You can say it was a purchase without any research or planning (I always seem to do this, oops!). I was simply looking for a basic wash off mask that I could use every day. One that wouldn’t cost a lot, or one that wouldn’t be too hard to wash off. Plus when I looked up the mask ingredients, it seemed to have so few ingredients which was another reason I decided to buy it. Read on to see if I regret my latest purchase, or if in the end I liked it.

[REVIEW] iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil

iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil Review

iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil Review:

If you are into k-beauty, then you might be familiar with double cleansing. This two-step cleansing technique consists of using an oil-based cleanser to get rid of dirt, makeup, and sunscreen residue before using a water-based cleanser. For someone who only wears light makeup (or no makeup at all) daily, I didn’t think I needed to do both to fully clean my face. Boy was I wrong! Ever since I added an oil-based cleanser as the first step in my skincare routine, I noticed a huge improvement. Particularly, I saw a decrease in the number of blackheads and whiteheads on my nose.

Once I realized the importance of double cleansing, I made it a goal to find the perfect oil-based cleanser for me. Most k-beauty enthusiasts prefer to use cleansing balms such as the Banila Co. Clean It Zero or the Heimish All Clean Balm. I’ve tried samples of both and I found them effective but also inconvenient. To me, the idea of using a product which comes in a tub (with a lid that you’d have to twist open and a spatula to scoop out the product), is just too bothersome so I decided to get an oil cleanser in liquid form instead.

The brand iUNIK was fairly new to me when I got this product. I had read great reviews about the brand from a lot of Instagram influencers so I got intrigued. So when a Shopee store carrying iUNIK products went on a 50% off sale for Black Friday last year, I immediately got it. If I remember correctly, I scored this for only $12 which is a decent price for a cleansing oil.

I’ve been using this product for about three months now so I think my opinion about this is now pretty solid. You what that means right? It’s time for a review! But before that, here are some things you might want to know…

[REVIEW] NEOGENCE N3 Tea Tree Purifying Mask Sheet

NEOGENCE N3 Tea Tree Purifying Mask Sheet Review

NEOGENCE N3 Tea Tree Purifying Mask Sheet Review:

Neogence proclaims itself as one of the top derma skincare brands from Taiwan, which was founded by experts in dermatology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutics. Despite my unfamiliarity with this Neogence brand, I was quite interested to try since it states clearly about these features: MI/MCI free, heavy metals free, fragrance free, dye free, paraben free, and no animal testing.

Moreover, I found many positive reviews about this brand as well as the popularity. Looks like Neogence itself is quite popular among Taiwanese, since Taiwan is where this brand comes from. Then I decided to buy two variants at once; NEOGENCE N3 Marigold Soothing Mask and NEOGENCE N3 Tea Tree Purifying Mask.

[REVIEW] Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Toner

Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Toner Review

Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Toner Review:

I’ve been wanting to try this product for so long! It’s one of the products in my wishlist. So when it’s on sale (and just so you know, my current toner is almost finishing), I purchased it.

My first thought after receiving this toner was “Wow, this bottle is so big! But so cheap!” It is cheap, and bigger than any other toners that I have tried before.

[REVIEW] VT Cosmetics Cica Redness Cover Cushion #23 Natural Beige

VT Cosmetics Cica Redness Cover Cushion #23 Natural Beige Review

VT Cosmetics Cica Redness Cover Cushion #23 Natural Beige Review:

If you read my review about VT X BTS Black Collagen Pact, you probably know how much I love the product. Simply, since I’ve tried that foundation, I started to be a big fan of VT Cosmetics. I was attracted to try more, especially their base makeup. And one product that I kept eyeing was their Cica Redness Cover Cushion (seriously, I was like seeing my bias photo everytime I saw this product on my IG’s feeds, lol). And I finally got my cushion about a month ago, so I think I am good enough to write this review for you. They have 3 shades and I purchased the darkest one, number 23 (Natural Beige). The others are number 13 (Vanilla Beige) and 21 (Light Beige).

Ah, in case you haven’t known yet, VT Cosmetics launched Cica X Care line in the middle of 2018. This line consists of skincare and makeup products that have Tiger Grass (Centella Asiatica) as their main ingredients. You know, this ingredient got very popular recently as it is able to treat acne and sensitive skin very well.

Aside from the main ingredient that would be perfect for my sensitive and acne prone skin, there was also another thing that intrigued me to try this cushion. A thing that makes this cushion looks very unique. What’s that? Mmm, keep reading please!

[REVIEW] Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica 2 Step Mask

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica 2 Step Mask Review

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica 2 Step Mask Review:

With the centella/cica hype booming so suddenly the past couple of years, I started to see this brand everywhere, with the centella ampoule as its main breakout star. But while I’ve not had the chance to try that product from Skin1004, I think this 2-step mask would be a decent gauge of how this product line would work for me. So, let’s see, shall we?

[REVIEW] IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream

IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream Review

IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream Review:

Wow, finally this IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream arrived to my hands! Honestly I’d been eyeing this product for quite some time before decided to buy this at the end. While the first IUNIK products I heard was the serum (Black Snail Restore Serum, Rose Galactomyces Synergy Serum, Beta Glucan Power Moisture Serum, and Tea Tree Relief Serum), unfortunately I had to turn a blind eye to it since I still had a stack of serum stocks, even when I thought that their claims were pretty interesting. In the other hand, I was running out of my daily moisturizer so I eventually braced myself to buy a moisturizer from IUNIK instead.

I was in serious contemplation since the product name is IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream. I always preferred to use light skincare products due to my normal-to-oily skin type, but a lot of reviews praised IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream ability to perfectly moisturize and give nutrition to the skin. Moreover, the fact I have to work in a room with heavy blow of air conditioner everyday also one of my considerations. I doubt this product, as a gel cream, would give the perfect moisture to my skin. In due course, my curiosity won and I took the liberty to have a go at IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream.

[REVIEW] Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower Review

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack in Shower Review:

Etude House actually released this 3-minute line last year!! It’s based on the famous Ottogi 3-minute food series/range, which is a really cool and cute idea in my opinion. They came out with a range of 3 min sheet masks (30 in a pack), this wash off mask and two types of sheet masks. One of the sheet masks – the 3 minutes Turmeric one was reviewed by Ana B.

I was especially interested in the wash off mask because well I haven’t tried too many wash off masks and they seem like a great idea for the shower. The fact that it’s “3 minutes” means it should be easy to wash off and great for lazy people like me. It also contains calendula flower petals and turmeric, but more importantly to me was the fact that it was designed to be used in the shower. Since I have dry skin – I really avoid getting my face wet in the shower, until near the end because otherwise my skin gets irritated and dry. So, to me this mask looked really appealing and I hoped it would be one that washed off easily, as well as providing the boost of much needed moisture for my skin. Shall we see how well this wash off mask worked for me?

[REVIEW] 2019 NEW Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+/PA++++

Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+PA+++ Review

Cosrx Shield Fit All Green Comfort Sun SPF50+/PA++++ was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Cosrx has been releasing some interesting new products lately, and suffice to say, I’ve been feeling pretty left out from all the hype as I’ve only had experience using their older stuff. So when Nigama offered this review opportunity shortly after the release of the new Cosrx sunscreens, I immediately jumped to chance.

And as there were 1+1 launch offers, this is just the first half of my reviews for the sleek-looking sun products from Cosrx – the Snail Essence Sun (Moisture) coming up soon! So, without further ado, here’s my take on this new sunscreen aimed towards fellow sensitive-skinned folks.
