[REVIEW] The Face Shop Rich Hand V Hand & Foot Total Treatment

The Face Shop Rich Hand V Hand & Foot Total Treatment Review:

Winter is coming… As well as the rough dry skin at every inch of my body. It is the season to invest on lotion, hand cream, foot cream, and all other moisture booster products. Among all parts of my body, heels are the worst, so ordinary body lotion won’t do. I tried several brands of foot cream but so far haven’t discovered the perfect one. So, my boyfriend was aware of my pity heels and gave me this Face Shop Rich Hand jar, selected without any experience of choosing foot cream…haha. The price is KRW 7,000 in Korean stores. Here’s my experience of trying the cream.

– It is claimed to be non-sticky and easily absorbed moisturizer for hand and foot with Vitamin E.

– Expected to soften rough and dry skin of hand and foot.

Firstly, packaging. The packaging is simple with yellowish jar with brown screw cap. There is additional soft lid inside to prevent it from spill over during travel. As foot cream, the packaging is acceptable because I only apply the cream to my feet at home. However, as hand cream with a more frequent application, the jar is not so travel-friendly, I would prefer the small squeeze tube.

The product itself is quite solid, not runny like body lotion, more like wax. It has a yellowish color and a very nice smell of vanilla and… honey perhaps. Whatever that is, the smell is the best thing about this product. Not so strong, though.

Despite of the waxy appearance, the cream is not sticky at all. It can be spread easily, melted through the skin, and absorbed quickly. I can feel the rough skin soften immediately after applying and the protection last sufficiently during sleeping.

After three weeks, the dry cracked heels improved really well. I wanted to give you the picture but changed my mind since the “before” state was so gross (like, no wonder my boyfriend noticed…sigh).

The cream amount is generous, so after three weeks it still remained a lot, perhaps enough to the spring season. Yay!

Overall, this is the best foot cream I have ever tried. So, definitely will purchase it as a foot cream. However, as hand cream, I prefer the smaller tube packaging type. I can recommend this to anyone with dry hand, foot, even elbow or knee.
