THE SAEM Cover Perfection Tip Concealer Review:
Like most of us here, I regularly read reviews and watch other people’s videos about their favorite products or their recommendations. At more than half of the videos I’ve seen, this particular concealer was always in! It seemed like everyone loved it! To this day I have never seen anyone saying they hated it. Even if I’m not particularly interested in a specific type of product, when I see such optimistic feedback I really want to buy it and see how it works for myself.
Up till now, I’ve been unlucky with concealers. Especially when I tried to cover my dark circles, I somehow just couldn’t accomplish the flawless *I slept for 18 hours* look. Or to be honest, I couldn’t even accomplish the *yep, I did sleep last night* look. One day I saw some photos that were comparing various best-selling concealers by Korean and American brands. Surprisingly, The Saem’s tip concealer had the best coverage. Many of the others weren’t even close to this concealer’s power to be able to compare them. In the photo it covered a line from a black eyeliner just like that. I was amazed and amused. Right after that, I ordered this concealer, having great expectations.
This concealer is made from a formula that moisturizes and contours the skin. It can cover blemishes as naturally as possible while it can last for a whole day.

THE SAEM Cover Perfection Tip Concealer Review:
First of all I have to say, I expected this concealer’s container to be about the same size as a lip gloss, at least from what I’ve seen in all other reviews and photos of it. Surprisingly, it is extremely tiny for its price range (5 dollars). To be precise it’s smaller than my pinky finger, and it’s 8.8 centimeters.
It comes with a doe foot applicator which I personally love, since it’s very hygiene friendly and also easy to apply without wasting a lot of product. The only downside with the applicator is that since the container is so small, the wand is also too short and you get less freedom on how you apply it with your own hands. I get annoyed by it because my hand usually blocks my view of my eye area because it’s holding the wand!
This concealer- like most, doesn’t have a distinct smell. While applying and wearing it the smell seems nonexistent but if you get it close to your nose it has a very faint smell of chamomile or lotus; I wouldn’t call it unpleasant but it’s too faint to say it smells great or that it makes me want to use this concealer more.
It has a very thick and creamy consistency. Once you apply it on to anything, it literally stays there. Not even the slightest movement so you don’t have to worry about it getting further than your preferred area.
Of course, that is mostly a good thing but there’s a huge downside to it. It is very hard to blend! The eye area it the most sensitive area on your face. Rubbing your eyes just a little bit can cause wrinkles or bruises to appear. Imagine using pressure every time you want to use a concealer, personally it gives me anxiety just thinking that I might get more wrinkles under my eyes.
From all the tools that I have used to apply this concealer, so far the beauty blender and the silisponge seem to work the best but it’s a bit hard to blend the formula in the area closer to the eye.
This concealer is buildable as it dries very fast (you basically have to finish one eye before you apply it on the other because it’ll dry), but I guarantee you, you won’t have to. The coverage is insane. It covers pretty much everything. Sadly, it doesn’t perform great on areas other than the eyes, it feels too heavy and thick on the skin; like it can’t breathe. In a few words it clogged my pores.
This product, has an SPF of 28. At first, you may wonder why would a concealer have SPF protection and in fact, on the higher side; You see, UV ray protection is extremely important, but using sunscreen under your eyes can be irritating to them and also, it isn’t comfortable usually.
On top of that, that specific area is more sensitive and one of the first places that get wrinkles. That means that you need extra protection in that specific area and this concealer is a great helping hand at protecting your eye area.
As far as its durability goes, it is outstanding. It doesn’t get affected by water or by rubbing against your hands which is great, as you won’t have to re-apply it throughout the day or be anxious about its fading coverage. It really lasts for the whole day as the saem claimed to do; my personal record is about 10 hours, I can’t go for more than that since I don’t want makeup on my face for that long.
Overall, this product is good but it’s definitely not for everyone. If you’re a makeup rookie, don’t go for this. Its effects and performance may be great but it’s not easy to control. Also, I’d really recommend to not buy the shade that’s lighter than your skin; Of course, your concealer is supposed to be lighter than your skin but since this one sets so fast and remains just like that for many hours, it might end up looking weird on your face; I’ve seen myself look half dead thanks to this concealer multiple times. So have that on your mind if you’re planning to buy this product.
